NEMA rated enclosures are commonly used in harsh environments or to protect wireless LAN equipment
from tampering or theft. TerraWave’s custom NEMA solutions make it easy to mount and protect Cisco
wireless products in most every vertical market. From basic to completely customized, TerraWave offers
NEMA accessories for any Cisco wireless application. Select from more than twenty Cisco approved
NEMA solutions, each delivered complete with a select Cisco Aironet® access point. TerraWave offers
enclosure solutions in a number of different materials to address specific application needs. Enclosures
are available with accessories including mounting solutions, locks, screw down covers and heating and
cooling elements to meet the specifications of any Cisco wireless deployment.

Cisco 1231 AP—With simultaneous support for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios,
the Cisco Aironet 1200 Series preserves existing IEEE 802.11b investments and
provides a migration path to future IEEE 802.11a and IEEE 802.11g
technologies. Its modular design supports single and dual-band configuration,
plus the field upgradability to change these configurations as requirements
change and technologies evolve.

Ceiling Tile Enclosure—Includes the Cisco
1231 Access Point
TerraWave's Ceiling Tile Enclosure contains and
protects the Cisco 1231 AP in an aesthetically
pleasing and stealthy solution within a suspended
ceiling. Suspended in a similar manner as the
ceiling tile grid, this smart solution is suspended by
wire to the roof structure. Required hardware is
provided to hold the weight of this enclosure.
Installation requires cutting an existing ceiling tile
from its original 2’ x 4’ size to 2’ x 3’. A two inch
section of ceiling tile grid is provided to dress the
installation. Antennas are mounted with no exposed
cable. Once installed, the AP is protected and
hidden from view, in a solution that is flush with the
ceiling tile.
