ILB 12-VOLT AND 24-VOLT
CONSTANT CURRENT
LED BATTERY PACKS
The 12V and 24V ILB models include the converter
circuit, charge circuit, and battery in a single housing.
The units are available in several different mounting configurations to best accommodate the LED fixture design.
ILB-3020 AND ILB-3020-CW
IOTA ILB-3020 Models utilize a reduced-profile housing
for the converter and charge circuitry which connects
to an external battery pack. The larger, external battery
provides emergency power for increased voltage and
wattage applications.

30 VOLT OPERATION
IOTA ILB Emergency Battery Packs for 30V
LED driver applications include the ILB-3020
and ILB-3020-CW. In the event of a power loss,
the ILB-3020 will operate LED loads at up to
30VDC at 20 watts. The ILB includes a single
housing for the charger and converter circuit
and two battery pack options. The ILB-3020CW includes specialized design features for
use in cold-weather applications.

HEATING BLANKET
The specialized heating blanket protects the
battery from extreme temperatures that can
render the battery inoperable. When the temperature drops, the heating blanket is activated
and maintains the battery temperature within
acceptable parameters.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL CIRCUITRY
The temperature control circuitry activates the
heating blanket at low temperatures and also
prevents the charging circuit from attempting to
charge the battery until the battery temperature
has reached acceptable levels.
Two options are available for
the ILB-3020 battery pack: a
single 16-cell battery pack or
two 8-cell battery packs.
For cold-weather battery
packs, add approximately
1/8″ to the battery width and
height to accommodate the
heating blanket.

IOTA ILB-CP Battery Packs provide emergency illumination for 5, 7, and 10 watt loads with an operating voltage range of 18 to 48 VDC.

The IOTA ILB-CP Series delivers constant power
to the LED system during emergency operation,
maintaining illumination at a consistent level for the
required duration.
As battery voltage decreases, the ILB-CP design reduces the system current but continues operating the
LED array at the designated wattage.
This unique and innovative design eliminates concerns of insufficient foot candles along the path of
egress at the end of the required 90-minute duration.

MOUNTING CONFIGURATIONS
IOTA ILB Battery Packs are available in a variety of mounting configurations
to accommodate various fixture types and mounting scenarios. Refer to individual product specifications to determine which mounting configuration is
available for each emergency ballast model.
The “A” configuration provides dual flex for wiring to
both the fixture or ballast compartment and test accessories.
The “B” configuration allows for integral installation within the
ballast compartment. The EM-B may also be mounted atop
the fixture when used with a TMK-80 cover accessory.
The “J” configuration is designed to be mounted to the junction box and provides flexible conduit for remote mounting of
the test accessories.
The “TM” configuration provides a top-mounting option for
running wires directly into the ballast compartment. Test accessories are then installed within the fixture.
The “R” configuration provides dual flex for wiring to the fixture
or ballast compartment. The single-piece test accessory is provided with hardware for installation directly within the reflector.

TWO-PIECE TEST KIT
The TBTS option provides a single
compact component for both testing of
the emergency driver and indicating the
charge status of the battery. The TBTS
and accompanying faceplate install
within a standard junction box.
The two-piece test kit configuration provides a
test switch for wiring to the emergency driver
and a red LED charge light for indicating that
the battery pack is being charged. The test accessories and accompanying faceplate install
within a standard junction box. (Note: TwoPiece test accessories are not available for the
ILB-CP models.)

features flexible conduit for running
wiring to the AC driver, LED array,
and test accessories. The diagram

Two-Piece Test Kit). The unit connector is used to close the circuitry after
final installation is complete and AC
power is supplied to the fixture.

The ILB-CP Series is provided with
a single-piece TBTS Test Accessory.
Like the ILB 12V and 24V, the ILBCP is available in different mounting
configurations, and wire locations
may vary between models. Additionally, the ILB-CP features Universal
Input, utilizing a single lead for accepting either a 120V or
277V supply.

COMMON
1. Test Accessories - For TBTS units,
the TBTS also functions as the test
switch, therefore no switch is present
on the common.
2. Dual Voltage Input - The ILB-3020
connects to either a 120V or 277V
input lead. The unused lead is capped.
3. Cold Weather Battery Pack - The
additional wiring is utilized for operation of the battery heating element on
the ILB-3020-CW.
4. Battery Pack Options - The ILB3020 battery is available as either (1)
16-cell or (2) 8-cell battery packs.
