Who We Are
AMPP Industries
AMPP industries Ltd was set up around electrical cabinet manufacturing in 2001.
It is a Company, associated by common ownership, which supplies BREMCA with all requirements for sheet metal and powder coating.
AMPP operates from separate premises adjacent to BREMCA in Christchurch providing over
1,222m² of manufacturing, Painting and assembly space.
We specialise in modular electrical cabinet manufacturing, design and custom built electrical
enclosures for both indoor and outdoor applications. Through our manufacturing partnerships we also manufacture a range of other sheetmetal products including storage systems,
domestic heating components, coin machines and general sheetmetal related products.
We have developed into a company that can adapt quickly to a wide range of challenges. You
may have a product or component that requires further development or you may have existing
products or components.
Our aim is to help you develop your business further by providing a manufacturing facility that
will meet your expectations and manufacturing needs.
Design
Appreciating the importance of latest technologies we have been a
fully licenced user of Solid Edge for many years and now incorporate
the new ST version into our design/programming department. Although similar to many 3D packages we have found it is far superior
when used in sheet metal design, and this allows us to produce a
more realistic representation of the parts and better developments
for production.
For our business this package allows us to deliver on many different
aspects:
• Single part modelling for development
• Multi part assembly
• Rendered images for marketing
• Full working drawings for production
Using the latest software also enables us to import clients existing products. We are able to
open many files ranging from 2D AutoCAD and other 3D formats. This makes for a seamless
integration and reduction in error. Using our standard material templates we are then able to
convert the parts to suit our production capabilities and so produce a more accurate part for
our customer.
This coupled with our CAM software and experienced design staff we are able to produce high
quality results and provide support to our customers.

Safety Isolators
Full visible breaking
The handle can only indicate the “open”
position if the contacts are actually open.
Locking
The side mounted handle can accommodate
up to 3 locks.
Visible contact breaking
Lockout Safety Isolation
Conforms to Standards IEC 364 & IEC 204
Visible Breaking with Mechanical Indicator
Double Mechanical Door Interlocking
General characteristics
Bremca Safety Isolators equipped with Socomec load-break
switches provide emergency switch isolation and lockout isolation
for maintenance requirements.
• Socomec load break switch with visible breaking.
In accordance with NF C 13-100: “an
isolating device is considered as having
visible breaking if the separation of the
contacts is directly visible.”
Double door interlocking
The double locking of the enclosure prevents
the opening of the door when the isolator is in
the closed position.
Mechanical Off/On indicator
• IP65 degree of ingress protection.
• AC21 to AC23 load-break ratings
• Mechanical Off/On indicator - indicating
switch contacts opened or closed.
• Visible open and closed position of
switch contacts.
• Double door interlocking.
• Triple padlocking of the handle.
• 3 pole or 4 pole switches.
Flush with the sight glass, the mechanical
Off/On indicator shows the position of the
contacts in either the open or closed position.
It provides clear visulisation of the position of
the switch contacts.
Arc Fault Containment Cell
Arc Fault Containment
Electric arcs produce some of the highest temperatures known to occur on earth, up to 19,500°C. This temperature
is almost 4 times higher than the temperature on the surface of the sun. The intense heat from an arc causes a
sudden expansion of air resulting in a blast. Copper expands during an arc flash event at a factor of 67,000 times
within a few milliseconds.
The Bremca 250 Series Switchboard range of arc fault containment cells are designed to contain the products of
blast whilst safely allowing the pressure to dissipate into the adjoining cable or bus duct. In the event of a blast,
this significantly lowers the risk of serious harm to people in close vicinity of the switchboard.
Tested to 63kA in accordance with AS/NZS3439 the arc fault containment cells are available in predetermined
configurations, complete with depth adjustable gear trays / mounting plates, and side or rear entry cable or bar
termination options. Door latches specific to the arc fault containment option complete the solution.
The Bremca 250 Series Arc Fault Containment Solution is only available to approved switchboard builders.
Arc Fault Containment Cell
•Available in heights of 250mm, 375mm and 500mm. All 500mm wide x 300mm deep.
