UPDATE ON THE BALLOT MEASURE
“Save the Hills” Ballot Measure has qualified for the November ballot. The petition signatures
have been validated.
Tell your Riverside friends and family that a Yes vote means...1950 homes where 164 are allowed! Vote no in
November!
People are confused and upset about this Ballot Measure. It just doesn’t seem right that we continually have
to defend something that the Citizen’s of Riverside feel so strongly about, does it?
citizens4balancedgrowth.com is sponsored by New West Riverside, LLC, which is headed by veteran homebuilder
Terry Manley. Manley's company is under contract to purchase the 1,300-acre La Sierra property that is the subject of
the Initiative. Citizens for Balanced Growth is a coalition of residents, community and government leaders, and
conservationists committed to preserving natural open space while encouraging managed, responsible growth in
Riverside. (former Mayor Ron Loveridge staged a ‘walk with the Mayor’ at Hidden Valley in 2009. Some RRT
members attended on horseback. At that time he stated that he didn’t even know Hidden Valley existed. And now he
is part of citizens4balancedgrowth, a proponent to the 1950 homes.)

This organization is formed to establish, maintain, and nurture
recreational trails; and to educate trail users and the general
public thereof. We do so through family oriented activities, such
as trail rides, overnight camping, playdays, etc. Fundraisers
are held to support these goals, and donations may be made
to futher these same causes.
