En ny type satelittbasert innflygingsprosedyre vil
være tilgjengelig ved Haugesund lufthavn, Karmøy.
A new type of satellite based approach procedure
will be available at Haugesund airport, Karmøy.
Det kreves spesiell godkjenning fra Luftfartstilsynet
for å kunne bruke denne prosedyren.
Special authorisation from the Norwegian Civil
Aviation Authority is required prior to operational
use of these procedures.

RNP AR-prosedyren som er publisert for Haugesund
lufthavn, Karmøy er basert på designkriteriene i
ICAO DOC 9905. Vertikalkomponenten i prosedyren
kommer fra flyets barometriske system og er
beskyttet av prosedyrens “Vertical Error Budget”
(VEB).
The RNP AR procedure published at Haugesund
airport, Karmøy is based on the design criteria
promulgated in ICAO DOC 9905. The vertical
component of the RNP AR procedure is provided by
the on board barometric system and is protected
through the application of a Vertical Error Budget
(VEB) in the procedure design process.
Radius til fix (RF) -funksjonalitet er nødvendig for å
kunne benytte RNAV(RNP) X RWY 14 -prosedyren.
Standard RNP-verdier er benyttet for alle
prosedyrens segmenter.
Radius to fix (RF) functionality is required to fly the
RNAV(RNP) X RWY 14 procedure. Standard RNP
values for each segment of flight is utilised
throughout the procedure.
Operatører som ønsker å benytte RNP AR
-prosedyren må være sertifisert av Luftfartstilsynet.
EASA har i tillegg publisert Airworthiness Approval
and Operational Criteria for RNP AR operations
(AMC 20-26) som gir retningslinjer for sertifisering.
Operators wishing to utilise the RNP AR procedure
must be certified by the Norwegian Civil Aviation
Authority. EASA has published an Airworthiness
Approval and Operational Criteria for RNP AR
operations (AMC 20-26).
