Overview: Greenheck Indoor Air Handling Units
Greenheck Indoor Air Handling Units include direct or belt driven fans and vertical or horizontal
configurations designed for air conditioning and/or heating buildings or specified spaces. They have been
developed to meet commercial or industrial applications such as schools, medical facilities, office
buildings or special industrial needs. In this article we will attempt to provide a brief overview of product
features and capabilities, allowing the designer to select the appropriate product for the specific
application at hand.
Model HFC
The recently introduced indoor air handling unit, Model HFC, provides a cost method of air conditioning
and/or heating for buildings and specific spaces. The HFC is available in direct or belt drive, and offers
many standard features desirable in an entry level indoor horizontal air handling unit. Construction
features and options are highlighted below, and summarized within the table located at the bottom of this
article.

• One inch double-wall construction
• Insulated housing
• Standard access panels
• Internal neoprene isolation
• Stainless steel, insulated double-sloped drain pan with a main and auxiliary drain
connection
• Removable drain pan and coils

Model VFC
The Vertical Fan Coil (VFC) is a vertical forward curved, dual wall constructed unit. Performance
capabilities range from 300 to 3,500 cfm and up to 3.5 in. wg. This
unit is
available in seven sizes. Unique features and accessories are listed
below
and summarized within the table located at the bottom of this article.

• Internal neoprene isolation – dampens internal vibration
• Stainless steel drain pan - insulated double wall

600-800 and ten for sizes 1300 and up)
• NEMA 1 disconnect switch
• Sealed double wall construction - excellent IAQ
Model LFC
The Low-Profile Fan Coil (LFC) is a forward curved low cost, dual wall constructed blower coil unit.
Performance capabilities range from 300 to 4,700 cfm and up to 3.5 in. wg. The LFC is available in eight
compact sizes. Unique features and accessories are listed below and summarized within the table
located at the bottom of this article.

• Ultra-low profile – as low as 11 inches
• Accessibility - dual side access
• One inch double wall construction –
provides superior IAQ
• Internal neoprene isolation – dampens
internal vibration
• Stainless steel drain pan - insulated

Model MSCF
The Modular Small Cabinet Fan Forward Curved (MSCF-FC) and Modular Small Cabinet Fan Backward
Inclined (MSCF-BI) are low-profile, dual wall, modular constructed, essentially a custom mini air handler.
Performance capabilities range from 300 to 4,700 cfm and up to 4 in. wg. The MSCF units are available in
eight compact sizes. Unique features and accessories are listed below and summarized within the table
located at the bottom of this article.
