Faculty Awards 1. Dr. Vighneswara Swamy was selected for award of Macro Research Fellowship for the year 2015-16, for his research proposal titled ‘A Study on the Effectiveness of Transmission of Monetary Policy Rates in India’. 2. Dr. Aviral Kumar Tiwari has been selected for the ‘Prof. M J Manohar Rao Award’ for the year 2014. The award instituted by The Indian Econometric Society (TIES) is given to young researchers below the age of 35 years, to encourage high quality research. The award was presented at the 52nd Annual Conference of the Indian Econometric Society, held at IIM, Kozhikode, during January 4-6, 2016. 3. Dr. Aviral Kumar Tiwari was awarded Best Researcher Award- 2015 by GRABS Educational Charitable Trust, Chennai. 4. Dr. Devika Vashisht, Won the Best Paper Award, for her conference paper, titled, ‘Impact of Advergame Speed, Game-Product Congruence and Persuasion Knowledge on Brand Recall,’ at International Conference on – Globalizing Brand India: Opportunities and Challenges, held at IIM Kashipur during April 18-19, 2015. 5. Amarnath Mitra, won the Best Paper Award for his conference paper, titled ‘Global Transmission of Volatility: An Empirical Investigation’, at the International Conference on Advances in Management and Technology (ICAMT-2015) held at MNNIT Allahabad during January 29-31, 2015. 6. Prof. V S P Rao - Won the Best Book Award, ISTD, 2014, Himalaya, for the authored book 'Managing Organization', Excel Books, First Edition, 2014. 7. Prof. Shailendra Singh Bisht, - BIG GREEN (BG) - Framework for Bringing Scale to Green Livelihood Initiatives (GLIs) in 2014. 8. Mr. Rik Paul - Received the 2014 Philip Law Scholarship from The Case Centre (former ECCH) for the case proposal titled 'Adopting a Learning Management System: Hurdles Galore'. 9. Prof. Suresh Chandra Bihari - received the Apollo N J Y Best Teacher award for overall Excellence in 2014. 10. Mr. Samyadip Chakraborty (jointly authored with Dr. Nasina Jigeesh) was awarded the Best Research Paper under IT category for the title 'Analysis of Agile testing attributes for faster time to Market: Context of Manufacturing sector related IT projects', at the Annual International Research Conference organized by Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune, in December 2013. 15. Ms. Nikhat Afsan - second prize under Doctoral Track (certificate of excellence and a cash prize) for the paper titled 'The Mediating Role of Customer Related Performance Outcome on the Relationship between Customer Integration and Firm Performance: An Investigation in Indian Context', at ISDSI (Indian Subcontinent Region Decision Sciences Institute) conference held at IMI, New Delhi, in December 2013. 16.
