paper in “Oral Presentation” on "HIV associated Coccidian diarrhoea; an opportunistic
correlation" and was awarded 1st Prize in 1st Rajasthan chapter of Indian Academy of Tropical
Parasitology 2016" held at AIIMS, Jodhpur on 2-3rd Sept. 2016.

on “Radiological study of Congenital Anomalies in profoundly deaf children – A Review of
15 cases” in 8th Dr. L.H. Hiranandani Midterm Conference & Live Surgical Workshop held on 34th Oct. 2015 at Indore (M.P.)

DR. SONIA TIWARI, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Community Medicine has been awarded Gold
Medal and 2nd Prize for the research paper “A study of health seeking behavior and
awareness of MCH practices, in a rural village of M.P.” at Delhi on 22nd -23rd Aug. 2015.

PRIYUSHA BAGDARE (Physicist) has received Best Paper award in Oral Presentation on "Is
intensity modulated radiotherapy always superior technique than three dimensional
conformal radiotherapy for treatment of non-small cell lung cancer: A comparative study"
in International Conference on Medical Physics, Radiation Protection and Radiobiology

Rao Gold medal in Hyderabad on 24th March 2013 by the Andhra Pradesh ENT association for
my contribution to ENT specialty in India.

DR. MILIND JOSHI, Consultant Pediatric and Laparoscopic Surgeon and Pediatric Urologist,
Associate Professor, Pediatric Surgery at SAIMS has been awarded Gold Medal in D.N.B.
Pediatric surgery superspeciality course conducted by National Board Of Examinations for
standing 1st position and achieving highest marks. He was honored by Parliament speaker Mrs.
Meera Kumar and Union Health Minister Mr. Gulab Nabi Azad at the 17th Convocation of DNB at
New Delhi. Dr. Joshi, also holds the rare academic feast of achieving 1st position for scoring
highest marks in M.Ch. Pediatric Surgery examination conducted by MUHS Nashik in 2009. He
was also awarded as honorary visiting professor by Lanzhou university and Lanzhou medical
college hospital, China for his academic publications in the field of Urology in 2010. He has
successfully established pediatric endourology procedural set up at Mohak Superspeciality
Hospital, Indore.He was also been awarded FALS.

Deptt. of Anaesthesiology & Critical Care of SAIMS bags Best Scientific Poster Award at
National Conference of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists held at Jodhpur (Raj.) from 26th-29th
Dec. 2008. The poster was presented by Professor Dr. (Col.) M. Kapadia & Dr. Mayank
Kulshreshtha, Asst. Prof., Deptt. of Anaesthesiology, SAIMS, Indore.

Dr. Avanish Mishra, Asst. Professor, Deptt. of Biochemistry has been nominated for “Rashtriya
Gourav Award” from Indian International Friendship Organisation, New Delhi.

Ms. Renu Rajai - ICMR Studentship 2007 awarded for her work on project titled- "Prevalence of
extended spectrum of β-lactamases in the members of enterobacteriaceae specifically in
Escherichia Coli and Klebsiella species isolated at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical
Sciences, Indore" under guidance of Associate Professor Dr. G.S. Bhatambare.
