The Silvercrest engine brings the outstanding reliability and

Silvercrest is a state-of-the-art engine, designed as the benchmark
in its thrust class. It delivers a 15% reduction in fuel burn and
lower total cost of ownership.

The Silvercrest core features a four-stage axial compressor and a
single-stage centrifugal compressor, a configuration that is
optimized for the targeted thrust class and rig-tested to
demonstrate performance. Fewer stages means a simpler, lighter
engine.
*CFM56 engines are produced and marketed by CFM International,
a 50/50 joint company of Snecma (Safran group) and GE.
