direction, MS supports/clamps, chase/hole cutting
in walls and floors and mending good the same and

compaction incluing disposal of surplus earth and
painting the pipes with single coat of epoxy primer
and two coats of coal tar epoxy for buried pipes or
two coats of post office red enamel paint for
exposed pipes. After painting the buried pipes with
coal tar epoxy (white tacky) two layers of fibre glass
cloth (approx 0.5 mm thick) shall be wrapped
around pipe and further 2 coats of coal tar epoxy

Providing and fixing horizontal centrifugal Fire
Pump rated for 2400 litres per minutes for TDH of
70 m pump unit shall be of high efficiency (not less
than 70%), volute type end suction cast iron
housing and bronze impeller. Pump shall be
coupled to a squirrel cage induction motor of
suitable HP (not less than 55 KW having efficiency
not less than 70%) for the above pump's discharge
capacity and TDH. The motor shall be TEFC with
supply conditions 415V, 3 phase 50 Hz, insulation
Class-F, IP-55, appropriate RPM with mounting
arrangement, coupling and coupling guard, floor
mounted type including MSEP fabricated common
base frame vibration damping synthetic rubber pad,
necessary cement concrete base (1:2:4) as
required, 12 mm thick cement plaster (1:4) and
neat cement finish and holding down bolts etc
complete with 25 mm dia rigid PVC drain pipe and
valve, necessary testing and commissioning.

The doors of the cubicle shall be fitted with dust
excluding neophrene gaskets with fastners for
proper compression of the gaskets.

The panel shall be multitier compartmentalised
cubical type, extensible on either side and shall be
treated with all anticorrosive process (Seven tank
process) before powder coated painting of
approved shade.
iv)
Busbars shall be of continuous rated HDHC tinned
copper confirming to IS 1897 as ammended up to
date adequate for specified rated continuous and
short circuit current covered by proper graded
colour coded heat shrinkable PVC sleeves.
Busbars shall be supported by suitable hylam
insulator supports. High tensile bolts and spring
washers are to be provided on all busbars and
suitable drilled holes for connection joints. The
busbars shall have a through fault withstand
capacity of 31 MVA RMS symmetrical for one
second. The interconnections between the busbars
and the circuit breakers shall be made by
continuous rated tinned copper strips suitably
covered by proper graded heat shrinkable colour
coded PVC sleeves or by unarmoured copper
cable. The earth busbar/s shall run through the
length of the panel and terminated at two ends.

All the MCCBs shall be provided with extended
rotary operated mechanism. Safety interlocks are
to be provided to prevent the doors of the
compartments housing the MCCBs to prevent the
doors to open when the MCCBs are in `ON'
position.
All control wiring in the panel shall be carried out
with 1.1 KV grade single core PVC insulated
copper conductors of minimum 2.5 sq mm
crosssection for potential circuits and CT circuits.
Wiring should be neatly bunched, adequately
supported, properly routed and finally crimped.
Wires are to be identified by numbered ferules at
either end. Terminal blocks used are of clamp type
with barriered terminals and are to be numbered.

Adequate cabling space should be available in the
panel with cable supports, cable alleys etc.
Provision for top/bottom entry and termination of
required number of A2XFY/A2X WY cable as
indicated in the SLD shall be provided. The position
of control switches, push buttons, levers, etc
requiring manual operation shall be at a height not
exceeding 1850 mm from the finished floor level.

The panel shall also comprise of necessary meters,
CTs, protection MCBs fuses, indication lamps,
thermal relays, contactors, auto manual switches,
lifting bolts, label inscriptions (metallic engraved
identification tags) describing the rating of the
breakers, designation of the feeders etc including
all other accessories, complete as per IE Rules and
regulations conforming to relevant IS and duly
approved and inspected at works after
manufacturing by IACS/Consultant. The rate shall
include necessary cutting chases and mending
good damages during installation. The panel shall
