The international, humanitarian organization focuses on improving the quality of life in developing countries by supporting the development of locally sustainable drinking water resources, sanitation facilities and health and hygiene education programs. The San Diego Committee is proud of its ongoing success in contributing to the organization, thanks to the continued support of San Diego -based individuals, businesses and public agencies that have taken initiative to get involved both locally and internationally. On October 23rd the San Diego Committee of Water For People (SDCWFP) will be hosting our Sixth Annual Luncheon at the Admiral Baker clubhouse. This is a beautiful clubhouse located along the Admiral Baker golf course and offers some pretty vistas and enough room for our local supporters. Our theme this year is the Current of Change, a look at the development of the Everyone Forever campaign which works in district wide planning with local municipalities and communities. Your local Water for People committee has also learned a thing or two in the last five years and expects this to be our best effort yet. Picture from 2012 Annual WFP Luncheon. organization.
