safety data sheet
SUBSTRATE: Clean thoroughly, remove loose and unsound
material as well as cement slurries using sand, shot or water
jet blasting or similar until the underlying grain structure has
been exposed. The substrate must have adequate bond
strength (욷1.5 N/mm2, on average).
Remove all rust from the exposed reinforcing concrete bars
(puriy grade Sa2 to Sa2 1/2) and coat with MS 02 PAGELCORROSION PROTECTION without leaving any gaps.
Any cracks inside the concrete substrate must be soaked and
sealed or grouted. Finish by removing any surface impurities
originating from the crack filling. The (concrete) substrate to
be coated must not be subject to the development of any
cracks. The repaired surface areas must be cut back 10 mm
at the edges.
Mineral-based Adhesion Layer: PH 10 PAGEL
INDUSTRIAL FLOOR-ADHESION LAYER
Pre-wet to saturation (approx. 6 – 24 hours). Brush deep into
the pores of the ready-prepared substrate using a hard brush.
Apply floor screed wet-on-wet.
Epoxy resin primer: EH1 PAGEL – EPOXY RESIN
The substrate must be dry. The concrete’s surface moisture
content must be less than 4 %; the substrate’s temperature
must be at least 10 °C. The substrate’s temperature must be
at least 3 °C above the prevailing dew point temperature.
The substrate to be coated must be protected against rising
damp before priming.
MIXING: The grout is supplied ready for use and only needs
to be mixed with water. Add all of the water, with exception of
a small residual amount, into the compulsory mixer, add the
dry mortar and mix for approx. 3 minutes. Add the remaining
water and mix for another 2 minutes.
APPLICATION: Lay wet-on-wet before the adhesion layer
has set using conventional tools. To finish, smoothen surface
using a compacting trowel or power trowel.
FINISHING TREATMENT: Protect surface from wind, draughts
and premature water evaporation using, e.g. jute sheets,
sheeting or EH136 PAGEL RESIN. The additional
information provided in the technical data sheet for
O1 PAGEL EVAPORATION PROTECTION or
EH136 PAGEL RESIN must also be observed if used
in low temperatures, if exposed to direct sunlight or wind.
Please contact our customer service department in the event
the floor will be exposed to frost when being laid.
Min/max. temperature for application: ѿ5 oC up to ѿ35 oC
