KEY PROJECTS
 Factory automation for Grupo Antolin Žilina
Within the production start of a new model series Kia Sportage we supplied the line for
roof completion for the company Grupo Antolin. This line consisted of robotic
workstation, automatic reloading and automated assembly of components. For Grupo
Antolin in Žilina it represented a shift from manual assembly towards automatisation
which means capacity and quality increase of supplied products.
 Robotisation of workstation for Grupo Antolin Bratislava
Together with the company Grupo Antolin Bratislava we changed the conception and
method of final assembly and inspection of sunblinds within production modernization
and production deployment of new types of sunblinds for the end customers
Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche. In contrast with the previous production method we
created robotic workstation in which the whole assembly and production is organised by
a robot. Besides quality and productivity increase this modification means for Grupo
Antolin possibility of greater production variability of various sunblind types in one
device.
 Robotisation of workstation for ZF Slovakia
For our customer ZF Slovakia in Trnava we designed and implemented robotic
production and assembly workstation ZMS. It regards pre-assembly and operation ZMS
in cooperation with automatic welding machine and control device. For correct
installation and positioning new technologies for image recognition cooperating with a
robot were implemented.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

KEY PROJECTS
 VEGA 1/0367/15: Research and development of a new system of autonomous
monitoring of robot trajectory
The research project solved the problem of implementation of the hybrid Inertial
Navigation Sensor (INS) into the control system of a robot. Such a system is able to
obtain a precise position of robot’s effector in the space. The application may be used
for calibration of robotic workplace, needed to adapt a simulated model of
manufacturing equipment to real geometric conditions. The simulation model of
manufacturing equipment together with application robot programmes, used with
the help of simulation system, represents a faithful image of reality. Errors between
reality and simulation appear for various reasons /position of a workpiece, geometric
tool accuracy, mutual position of robot axles/. The implemented INS is dedicated to
calibration without use of calibration tools.
 Safety assessment of the section block system VEAH-11
The Contract on research cooperation between SignalBau a.s., Přerov (Czech
Republic) and University of Žilina. The project objective: to asses delivered
documents for the section block system (SBS) of the VEAH-11 type with defined
interfaces to the connected interlocking and signalling systems and to elaborate the
safety assessment report for the SBS VEAH-11.
 ITMS 26220220169 Research centre for the transport telematics systems
The strategic project objective: to complete excellent centres of systems and service of
intelligent transport as an assumption for society infrastructure development based
on use of knowledge technologies, oriented to the problems of road tunnels.
 2/2012: Update and extension of product portfolio of the NEXUS system modules
Within the Contract on research cooperation between the První Signalní, a.s., Ostrava
(Czech Republic) and the University of Žilina the existing HW and SW components
were updated and the product portofolio of one of them was extended for new
modules related to new assumed system applications.
