The personal rescue device is rescue
made simple. The lightweight, unobtrusive
rescue device is contained in a small
“backpack” that integrates rescue
capabilities into your personal fall arrest
equipment. In the event of a fall (maximum
height: 65 ft/20m), the Elavation harness
suspends the user and allows the
Latchways PRD to gently lower him or her
to the ground, unassisted, in a controlled
descent.
The 3M™ Rugged Comfort Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator
is designed with tough and dirty work environments in mind. The
silicone faceseal provides comfort and stability, and keeps its shape in
high-heat environments, while the 3M™ Cool Flow™ Valve enhances
comfort by reducing heat and moisture. The 6500QL Quick Latch
version allows for fast and easy donning and doffing.

The 3M™ Versaflo™ TR-Series PAPRs incorporate the blower,

3M™ Glass Bubbles HGS Series are engineered hollow
glass spheres used as density-reducing agents in oil
and gas drilling fluids and cements. They are specially
formulated for a high strength-to-weight ratio, allowing
greater survivability under demanding down hole conditions.
3M™ Glass Bubbles for Low Density
Drilling Fluids
Glass bubbles help reduce the density of water-based and
oil-based drilling fluids. Densities as low as 5.5 lb/gal (0.66
kg/l) can be attained when the base fluid is a synthetic oil.
Glass bubble-based fluids permit at balance, near balance
and underbalanced drilling, and also allow measurement
while drilling.
3M glass bubbles-based fluids control density efficiently,
process easily at rig site and are compatible with surface
cleaning and other downhole equipment. These fluids are
also are ideal for the range of temperatures, pressures and
hostile environments found downhole.

Low Density Cements
Low-density cement slurries made with 3M™ Glass Bubbles
HGS Series offer the potential to reduce costs and improve
performance compared to alternative solutions. In oil well
cements, 3M glass bubbles can help reduce slurry density to
below 1.08 kg/L (9.2 pounds per gallon).
Low-density slurries with 3M glass bubbles avoid the
multiple staging that is commonly used in wells that require a
long column of cement, and where weak exposed formations
will not support the hydrostatic head during cementing.
These slurries make it possible to cement deep wells in a
single stage, helping save both time and expense, while
reducing formation damage used in deepwater oil exploration
and production.
Down hole and Proppant Surface
Modification

relative permeability of the proppant, improve conductivity of
the proppant fracture and maintain absolute permeability of
the proppant, thereby increasing fractured
well productivity*.

production. 3M™ Ceramic Sand Screen offers a breakthrough sand
control technology, especially under demanding conditions where
abrasion is a major challenge.
3M™ Ceramic Sand Control Screens are almost as hard as diamond,
and more than ten times harder than metals. Ceramic sand control
screens offer exceptional wear resistance, and can be employed in
new wells or retrofitted to existing wells.

temperature SAGD bearings, to component parts like silicon nitride
check valve balls. The harsh environment produces erosion and
