PERFORMANCE
•
Opertates one twin-tube, triple-tube or quad-tube compact
fluorescent lamps for 90 miutes. Compatible with electromagnetic and electronic ballasts.
•
Protects against partial or isolated power outages. Low-glare,
shadow-free illumination provides excellent visibility for safe
building evacuation.

Fixture wires two ways: on night light circuit (permanently
energized) or on switchable circuit (unswitched circuit to the
battery pack and switched circuit to the fixture ballast). Battery pack will energize lamp during power outage regardless
of switched on/off position.
BATTERY
•
Sealed, maintennance-free, high=-temperature nickel-cadmium battery. Ensures long life over wide temperature
ranges. Recharges in 24 hours. Automatic battery recharge
after a 90-minute discharge.
•
Pilot light and test switch provide visual and manual means of
monitoring system operation.
ELECTRONIC
•
Constant-current series resistor-type charger. High-efficiency
push-pull inverter provides most effective method of DC to AC
conversion for maximum light output, battery life and reliability.
DIAGNOSTICS (SD option)
•
Single bi-color LED indicator to display two-state charging,
test activation and three-state diagnostic status.
•
Test switch provides manual activation of 30-second diagnostic testing for on-demand usual inspection.
•
Self-diagnostic testing for five minutes every 30 days and 30
minutes every six months.
•
Diagnostic evaluation of AC to DC transfer, charging and battery condition.
•
Continuously monitors AC functionality.
INSTALLATION
•
Battery packs, pilot light and test switch are integral components of the luminaire. Due to the design of some luminaires,
the pilot light and test switch may be remote mounted.
•
Optimize the ease and time required for job-site installation.

•
UL listed. UL 924, NFPA 101 (current Life Safety Code), NEC and
OSHA illumination standards.
•
Provides the most effective solution for the minimum path of
egress lighting requirements, as specified in the Life Safety
Code.
