The scope of work for this project includes detailed design and
engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning.
The scope of work is New Telecom Building and facilities, New Security
Building Complex, Substation, Armory Building, Service Yard & Chiller
Yard, Minaret & Prayer Hall Domes including Landscaping works and
Northern Western Extension road at Halul Island, Qatar.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinating with Quality Manager for the timely submission of all Quality documentation / Deliverable
Preparing Inspection and Test Plan / Check Sheets and ensuring approval from Client.
Ensuring that all Contractual / Company and local authority requirements for Quality, Health, Safety
and Environment (HSE) requirements are complied with ensuring the implementation of the Company
and Project Quality System / Plan.
Ensuring all Inspections are done as per Inspection and Test Plan / Contract and that these are
documented on pre-defined formats / Check Sheets. Ensuring all Hold and Witness Points are
adhered to the Client is given sufficient notice for Inspection.
Ensuring incoming materials are inspected, as approved and stored properly as recommended.
Ensuring proper interaction and co-ordination with Client, Site Laboratory and Site Team for Project
co-ordination.
Ensuring all Quality requirements are understood by site personnel / workman and sub-contractors
and providing training in the quality systems and skill functions necessary.
Ensuring and co-ordination for the sub-contractors quality control / implementation on site.
Ensuring proper control on receipt / distribution of Contractual Documents and Drawings with
assistance from Document Controller.
Ensuring all valid documentation / contract documents are being used on site.
Carrying out regular surveillance inspection for activities on site and that of sub-contractors.
Monitoring non-conformances and following up with site team for close out. Ensuring corrective /
preventive actions are taken to avoid repetitions of non-conformances.
Prepare where necessary, statistical data which will show quality trends.
Implementation of objective set during management review.
Reporting weekly quality performances and documentation to Quality Manager.
Responsible for reviewing all quality records on site and retaining them in handover files.
Ensuring preparation of Final Hand over Documentation and submissions of quality related
documents.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure all work activities are in conformance with contract requirements, drawings, specifications
and method statements.
Oversee day to day activities pertaining to all Civil, Structural and Architectural detailed work
including interpretation of drawing and specification.
Ensure all necessary submission / approvals and supporting activities needed for smooth and timely
execution of construction works such as Permanent Material, Shop Drawings, Main-Contractors etc.
Responsible for Survey and lay-out of vertical alignment, horizontal control and elevation and to
make sure that it conforms to the approved site development layout.
Interact with HSE / Permit Coordinator and ensure all permits are available for works on site and all
safety precautions are taken.
