The economist pointed out that

prices to remain generally satisfactory during the remainder of
the year, with some seasonal price
reductions In November, "The Outlook for the first half of next year,
however, definitely is not good,"
Williams asserted.
In discussing the future of the
cattle Industry, Don King, secretary and general manager of the
Texas and Southwestern Cattle
Raisers Association, sold that the
cattleman of the future must he
more versatile and ready to accept change.
King further pointed out that
land use will become more intensified and diversified. The number
of beef cattle will Increase from
more than 49 milion head this
