The Industry
Transport, Logistics and Supply Chain is a
large and diverse industry with a wide range of
functions from ordering, transporting, receiving,
storing and distributing merchandise within
Australia and overseas to planning, arranging,
controlling and tracking the movement of goods
for customers.
A ‘supply chain’ is the system of organisations,
people, technology, activities, information and
resources involved in moving a good or service
from a supplier to their customer.
