Description:
The MS32Q+ Wireless Firing System is FCC Certified, and represents the newest technology in
consumer firing systems. And when combined with our Falcon igniters, you can put on a dramatic fireworks
display just like the pros - at a fraction of the cost. Plus you get to watch your displays along with your
guests! Now there is no longer any reason to hand light your displays. Do it like the pros at a fraction of the
cost!
This convenient system is extremely reliable and has many benefits of more expensive professional systems:

FCC Certified (FCC ID: YMU-12LN and YMU-6XT)

The range from the remote to the field module is about 200 meters (+/-) depending on surroundings. For
best results we recommend elevating the MS32Q firing module about 18 inches off the ground with the
antenna extended straight up. The transmitter antenna should be extended fully, pointed straight up, and
elevated off the ground about 4 feet.

This system is highly sensitivity with excellent anti-jam performance. It is extremely reliable and easy to
use.

The RF transmission between the remote transmitters and receiver is very secure. There are more than
1,000,000 address codes available for the transmitters, and once a receiver is activated by a remote
transmitter, that receiver will respond only to the transmitter it has been mated to.

Transmitters come with an on/off switch for added safety and security. You cannot inadvertently fire a
cue with the remote power switch in the off position. Turn the remote power on only when ready to fire.

Transmitters now come with backlit buttons, making them easier to read in the dark.

Transmitters go into "Sleep / Lock" mode after 3 minutes of inactivity, to conserve batteries and provide
an increased level of safety.

The field module receiver has a 3-position switch for TEST, ARM, and LEARN.

Circuit Overload Protection: The MS32Q contains circuit overload protection, so that even if you have a
short circuit in your igniter wiring, the cue will not overload or burn out.

Dual Firing Modes: Each MS32Q+ system include two (2) remote transmitters. One remote with buttons
labeled 1 through 8 and A, B, C, and D, fires cues on demand, and in any order. The second remote, using
the Stepper button, is used for automated stepped firing. Each press of the Stepper button on the second
transmitter will fire the cues in order, beginning at cue A1 and ending at cue D8.

Dual Power Capable: The field module receiver operates on eight (8) AA batteries when using the included battery case connected to the power jack. An external SLA battery can also be connected to the
external battery jack (recommended: “Sealed Lead Acid” (SLA) rechargeable 12 VDC, 10 aH).

Multiple MS32Q+ field modules (receivers) can be mated to a single MS32Q+ transmitter, allowing a single remote transmitter to control multiple field modules (receivers) simultaneously. This ability allows for
totally flexible setup arrays.

How to Use:
TEST Igniter Circuit: With an e-match or igniter connected to a cue on the field module (receiver), turn the
key switch to the ON position and shift the three-position rocker switch to the TEST position. If the Cue TEST
LED for the cue is ON and the Cue FIRE LED is OFF, then your circuit has good continuity, otherwise your circuit is broken and the igniter will not fire. Check your igniter connection. Replace defective igniter if
necessary.
Firing Procedure: After your igniters have been tested and have good continuity, use the following
procedure for firing the cues:
FIRE Procedure for Transmitter 1 : Instant on-demand cue firing

There are four (4) banks of cues on the field module (receiver) labeled A, B, C and D. Each
bank contains eight (8) cues labeled 1 through 8. On remote Transmitter 1 there are four

The Cue FIRE LEDs on the field module (receiver) will light up as you press the number
buttons on the remote transmitter, indicating the fire signal is being received and the cue
is being fired.
NOTE: Until a letter button is pressed on remote Transmitter 1, none of the number buttons
will transmit a signal to the receiver. You must make a letter (bank) selection first.
NOTE: When the firing system is in the ARM status, and once a specific cue has been sent
the firing command, it cannot be activated again for five (5) seconds.
8
How to Use:
FIRE Procedure for Transmitter 2 : Stepped sequence firing
Transmitter 2 is used for stepped sequence firing, meaning you will fire cues A1 through D8, one cue at a
time, in order, progressing through banks A, B, C, and D. Using Transmitter 2 for this purpose is much easier
than pressing all of the respective buttons on Transmitter 1 to accomplish this same task.

On the field module (receiver), make sure the key switch is in the ON position and the
three-position rocker switch is in the ARM position. Make sure to extend the retractable
antenna on both the receiver (field module) and the remote transmitter.

Make sure Transmitter 2 is Unlocked mode. Pressing the Lock/Unlock button will toggle
the remote between Locked and Unlocked mode. The remote is Unlocked when the light
on the top of the remote is on. When the remote is in Locked mode, none of the other
buttons on the remote will work, and the light will be off.

On remote Transmitter 2, press and hold for one second the button labeled Stepper to fire
cue A1 (make sure the remote power switch is on). Continue pressing the Stepper button
to fire the remaining cues A2 through D8, one by one, in order. The Cue FIRE LEDs on the
field module (receiver) will light up as you press the Stepper button on the remote transmitter, indicating the fire signal is being received and the cue is being fired.

You can lock or unlock the remote at any time by pressing the Lock/Unlock button. The
remote is locked when the light on the top of the remote is off, and unlocked when the
light is on

Pressing the Stop button will end your current stepped sequence, and reset the sequence
back to cue A1.

The buttons labeled Start, Pause, and Continue on Transmitter 2 are not used for this firing
mode, and are reserved for future use.
Low Power Alarm: When the power to the system has dropped to 6.5V or below, the digital readout (#11)
will blink continuously, no matter which position the three-position switch is in. If this occurs the batteries
should be replaced or the external battery should be recharged. The system may not work correctly or fire
igniters reliably when the voltage being supplied to the system drops below 6.5V.
Digital Readout (#11):

When the three-position switch (#7) is in the LEARN or ARM position, the digital readout
(#11) will display the indicated voltage of the active power source.

When the three-position switch (#7) is in the TEST position, the digital readout (#11) will
display the last three digits of the ID of the receiver.
9
How to Use (continued):
Wired Control Mode (future use):
When the field module receiver is connected to a MASTER unit through the RS485 ports on the side of the
receiver, and the MASTER unit is turned on, the receiver will select Wired Control mode automatically, and
the wireless control mode will be disabled. Additionally, the Wired Control Mode LED (#12) will be on.

SAFETY IS OUR MAIN PRIORITY:
REMEMBER, SAFETY IS OUR PRIMARY CONCERN WHEN WORKING
WITH FIREWORKS. REMOTE FIRING SYSTEMS CAN ADD AN ADDITIONAL
LEVEL OF SAFETY TO IGNITING FIREWORKS, BUT THE RISKS OF
ACCIDENTAL IGNITION STILL REMAIN EVEN WITH THE REMOTE FIRING
SYSTEM’S USE. PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL FIELD MODULE AND REMOTE
TRANSMITTER POWER SWITCHES ARE IN THE OFF POSITION RIGHT UP
UNTIL THE TIME YOUR DISPLAY IS ABOUT TO BEGIN. THIS NOT ONLY
SAVES ON BATTERIES, BUT HELPS TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL IGNITION
FROM AN INADVERTENT BUTTON PRESS.
PLEASE REVIEW OUR COMMON SENSE SAFETY GUIDELINES LOCATED
