arising from modification. We strongly recommend this sensor not be modified and/or used for any

INTENDED USE
This dawn to dusk sensor is easy to install. It is perfect for northern industrial tools barn lights.
Automatically activates lights; turn them on as darkness falls and turning them off at first light.
Weatherproof design for exterior use.

supplied by the operator.

IMPORTANT SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
•
Proper installation of this product requires the installer to have a good understanding of circuitry.
•
Please operate your down to dusk sensor according to Operation Method and retain the proper
operation procedures.
•
Before attempting to install down to dusk sensor, ensure power to outlet box is off for your own
safety.
•
WARNING: Connect green fixture wire to grounding screw in junction box.
•
WARNING: Do not touch the steel parts when it is working.
•
Do not use any harsh abrasives, detergents or anything containing ammonia to clean your down
to dusk sensor.
•
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS COULD
RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT OR SERIOUS INJURY TO YOU!
SENSOR USE AND CARE
•
Do not modify the sensor in any way. Unauthorized modification may impair the function and/or
safety and could affect the life of the product. There are specific applications for which the sensor
was designed.
•
Check damaged or worn out parts before using the sensor. Broken parts will affect the sensor’s
operation. Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately.
•
Electrical Rating: 120V AC, 60Hz; 60 Watts MAX.
ASSEMBLY
Attach to wall mount lights:

Disconnect power at main electrical box before installing fixture.
Place the sensor to the back plate of light. Attach the white wire of sensor to the white wire of
light, red wire of sensor to black wire of light and live wire in junction box, black wire of sensor to
neutral wire in junction box, using wire nuts (9) provided.
Connect 2 green wires (one of the light and one of the sensor) to grounding screw in the junction
box.
Attach the back plate with sensor to junction box using #8-32 mounting screws（7）.
Attach to ceiling mount lights:

Disconnect power at main electrical box before installing fixture.

Attach the sensor to the back plate of light using 3 pieces M4x22 screws（6）. Attach the white
wire of sensor to the white wire of light.
Thread the M4x40 mounting screws (8) into the provided holes of the mounting bracket on the
light.
Pull the power supply wires out from the junction box ,and mount the mounting bracket to the
junction box, using #8-32 Mounting Screws(7).
Attach red wire of sensor to black wire of light and live wire in junction box, black wire of sensor to
neutral wire in junction box, using wire nuts (9) provided.
Connect 3 green wires (two of the light and one of the sensor) to grounding screw in the junction
box.
Place the back plate of light over the junction box and onto the M4x40 mounting screws
(8).Adjust the mounting screws until they protrude out from the back plate 5/32”.Then attach the
cap nut provided in lights.
MAINTENANCE
•
Maintain your dawn to dusk sensor. It is recommended that the general condition of dawn to dusk
be examined before it is used. Keep your sensor in good repair by adopting a program of
consistent repair and maintenance. Have necessary repairs made by qualified service personnel.
