Vincent and Jean-Sébastien head west to British Columbia where they soon find work as biologists, eventually deciding to create their own small operation. 1996 – Biofilia is founded, as Vincent and Jean-Sébastien learn the ropes of their craft and find out what it means to run a business. 1999 – Biofilia returns to Quebec, Martin re-joins the team, and they set up an office in La Minerve, a cozy community in the Laurentians north of Montréal. The nearby, tourism-oriented Mont-Tremblant region provides the perfect environment for rapid business growth. 2002 – Biofilia establishes a head office in the neighbouring town of Labelle. 2005 – Another office is set up in Laval. For special projects, regional branches - in the Côte Nord and James Bay areas - are also opened, while the number of mandates and collaborators keeps growing steadily. 2016 – Biofilia celebrates its 20th anniversary with close to 25 employees and promising new challenges on the horizon.
