Responsibilities (responsibilities include but not limited to the following) GE Water & Process Technologies is currently searching for a Commercial Engineer to join our Customer Fulfillment & Engineering team and assume responsibility for proposal activities, basic process designs, budgetary and final proposals within an assigned region, as well as periodic support for other Commercial Engineers within the group. Reporting to the North Western, Central & Eastern Europe and Russia Customer Fulfillment & Engineering Leader. Provide Commercial Engineering support in an assigned region and maintain a working knowledge of all active water and wastewater projects • • • • • • • • Developing technically complete, timely and profitable proposals and contracts within the region for larger, more complex or strategically important clients and project Generate process designs, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams and General Arrangement Drawings Apply costing and process design strategies in order to position the company, in the early stages of project development, to increase the probability of success Adhering to all internal procedures related to bid preparation, proposal tracking Authorization of Order Packages and sales forecasting Execute the Delegation of Authority (DoA), and be held accountable to get the required approvals for any conditions that fall outside the DoA, while ensuring all GE Water & Process Risk Policies are followed Develop and maintain relationships with Regional Sales Managers and Local Representatives and all Assisting Region Sales Managers with sales calls, design kick-off and value engineering meetings Provide technical support in front of end users, customers and consultants during feasibility studies and further project development phases Qualifications (qualifications include but not limited to the following) • • • • • • • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, civil or environmental engineering Proven experience in water and wastewater engineering, technical sales, commercial operations or product Management Knowledge of Membrane Separation Technologies and Membrane Process Equipment Demonstrated capabilities to work in a rapidly changing environment and operate independently to deliver business results Terms and Conditions negotiating experience Strong influencing and team building skills Strong German and English skills (verbal and written) We look forward to receiving your online application.
