Cambridge English Language Assessment, a department of the University
of Cambridge develops and produces Cambridge English exams – the
most valuable range of qualifications for learners and teachers of English
in the world. Over 4 million people take our exams each year in 130
countries. Around the world, more than 13,500 universities, employers,
government ministries and other organisations rely on Cambridge English
qualifications as proof of English language ability. Cambridge English
exams are backed by the work of the largest dedicated research team of
any UK language test provider.
Cambridge English is a not-for-profit department of the University of
Cambridge and part of the Cambridge Assessment group. Cambridge
English is now recruiting for:
MARKETING MANAGER
 Exciting strategic marketing role
 Progressive and full time position
 Management of marketing activity in Australia and New Zealand
Cambridge English requires an experienced Marketing Manager to
contribute to the achievement of the Cambridge’s global business
objectives by providing effective marketing and test centre support to its
Australia and New Zealand office.
Key activities of this role include:

Supporting the Regional Director and Regional Manager in the
implementation of strategic marketing campaigns to promote and
increase sales;
Working with UK digital team to drive digital campaigns in Australia and
NZ;
Maintaining effective coordination of events, advertising, newsletters,
both digital and traditional mediums;
Managing the expansion of recognition of Cambridge English exams in
the region;
Management of the centre network ensuring it has the capability to
ensure growth of candidature;
Participating in and presenting at industry events;
Management of CRM system;
Managing and processing records, correspondence and enquiries; and
Planning and prioritisation of tasks.
Essential requirements to be considered for this role are:

Undergraduate qualification in business/marketing;
Knowledge of the ELT market and/or the Cambridge English business;
Superior communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with
a diverse range of people, and maintain and build key stakeholder
relationships;
Substantial experience in marketing or marketing support role in a
target-driven environment, preferably in the private language school or
international higher education sector;
In depth experience in developing and delivering successful digital
marketing campaigns. It is essential that you have a strong working
knowledge and passion for digital marketing and the process;
Possess outstanding project management experience, including
planning, prioritisation of tasks, conference and workshop planning,
monitoring of progress and reporting; and
It would be desirable to have previous exposure to the various markets and
challenges of English language teaching.
Working as a member of a small team in a boutique environment at North
Ryde, you will enjoy this opportunity to make a unique contribution. You
must also have a willingness to undertake some travel for marketing and
stakeholder events.
