A New Concept System Modularity New packaged air handling units OnePlus series are the latest offspring of Apen Group’s experience. These units have been designed and developed to guarantee top installation flexibility inside or outside the buildings where air conditioning is required. The total heat requirement can be split across multiple units, thereby making the installation convenient and rational: heat output can be managed on an area basis, and new units can be installed if additional requirements arise. The pulsing heart of OnePlus units is their modulating heat generator, including a premixed burner with low NOx output and double inlet centrifugal fans. Available heads range from 200 to 400 Pa, thus allowing maximum flexibility in designing highly articulated ducted systems. Cooling Units Cooling coils can be installed on OnePlus units to meet comfort requirements both in winter and summer. Why OnePlus? Models and Configurations Clean Combustion The burners installed in OnePlus units fully premix air and gas. A regulating heat output device is also installed. This results in: - No emissions of carbon monoxide (CO = 0). Technical Features Every part of our OnePlus air handling units has been attentively designed and carefully tested in Apen Group’s R&D Centre to develop and obtain a topquality, highly-reliable product. AIR/GAS MIX: GUARANTEED SAFETY Furnace & Heat Exchanger If combustion air fails, the gas valve closes. If combustion air decreases, the valve automatically reduces gas flow while maintaining optimum combustion parameters Furnace and air/flue exchanger are entirely built with mild stainless steel (low carbon content) to assures maximum reliability and long life cycle. The drop-shaped furnace and the air/flue exchanger, whose tube bundle is custom designed, guarantee performance that place OnePlus units among the leaders for heat efficiency, with an outstanding value of 94 %. Heat exchanger and combustion chamber An advanced technique for mixing air and gas guarantees total safety. The gas valve delivers gas based on air flow rate, according to a ratio set by the Manufacturer. FAN ASSEMBLY Depending on unit capacity, the fan assembly includes a single or double centrifugal fan rotating at low RPM speed, to reduce noisiness. Double inlet fans are statically and dynamically balanced and are belt-driven by electrical motors. PREMIX BURNER The burner is entirely made of AISI 430 steel and undergoes specific engineering processing that guarantee top reliability and high thermal-mechanical performance. ELECTRONIC CARD The microprocessor-based electronic card regulates continuous modulation of heat output and controls both the electrical fan for air/gas mixing and the gas valve. SAFETY AND CONTROL DEVICES The following devices are installed in OnePlus units: 1. Safety thermostat with manual reset and positive safety 2. Electronic ignition device for the burner and ionisation flame control device 3. It is equipped with G3 class cell filter and it can be supplied with G4 class filter on demand. The chronothermostat allows you to control and display working phases and possible failures. It also allows changing setup parameters using the electronic card installed in the unit. It is sufficient to cable the modulating card, with only two cables, to a computer, at distances up to 1100 meters without need of signal amplifier. In the configuration phase, it is possible to divide in groups/areas (building or departments), the heaters that the user wants to manage at different timing and temperatures. Once the configuration is made, the user disposes of a control panel with a great deal of information. For each defined area, it is possible to monitor the working modes of each heater, represented by different icons. 1 FIG. 1 For each group, making double click on the clock of the group, it is possible to manage and visualize the working calendar with the different setting: • installation OFF • heating ON • ventilation ON • antifreeze function ON FIG. 2 For each day of the week (fig.2) it is possible to set the ON-hour and the OFF-hour, eventual intervals and the desired room temperature. The managing program Kondensa.net has been developed with three safety levels, with access through password: Operator, Technical and Service.
