Engineering, development & design
Owing wide engineering and design capacities, ROEL engineers and customers put their
heads together in order to develop products, for product design, productivity and
feasibility purposes. Along with design resources involved into product development,
ROEL engineers keep themselves informed with the latest production technologies.
ROEL holds the best layout possibilities for PCBs with one, two or multi layers. The
hardware design and the software generation are joint together by the wish to provide the
most economic and impressive design. The software may be simulated, coded in Visual C,
C++ or Assembly language, according to the system's requests.
Production
Having cooperated with specialists in the PCB and component production, ROEL has
acquired high knowledge, thus production becoming more flexible and products more
competent. ROEL makes original designs, can remake a design and even suggest most
advantageous ways of production. Siemens „pick & place“ equipment measures the RLCD
components before the SMT procedure for product reliability increasing purposes.

The Final Assembly Department assures flexibility and quality upon competitive costs

Testing & quality
ROEL team of trained and equipped technicians performs testing and detection of
technical faults (in all analogue, digital, low or high frequency range, radio frequency
included). Testing is both hard and soft performed. Circuitry-level functional testing allows
fault detection, which may not be noticed at a visual inspection.

Professional monitoring solutions of the latest generation
The monitoring station, designed on the basis of high performance 8-bit microprocessors,
allows monitoring, recording, and administration of events received from different burglary
or fire alarming control panels, on PSTN, GSM/SMS, GSM/GPRS and Internet/Intranet.
A monitoring station consists of one central unit and of 1 to 8 line boards. A line board
realizes the interface with 2 standard telephone lines.
The monitoring station receiver power supply uses the mains 220Vac, and backup on
2V@7Ah battery (battery charger included).
Software for central monitoring station

? visual warnings (by pop-up windows) and acoustic warning (playback of prerecorded voice messages) for a prompt reaction of the operator in case of
receiving alarms and special events

According to the battery capacity (max.7Ah), an independent operation can be provided
for about 24h in case 220Vac mains lost.
Communication between the PC and monitoring station is carried out by a RS232 serial
port (9600 Kbps).
The main unit is provided with a parallel communication port for printer connection, where
all received events and events internally generated by the equipment may be printed.
It has a 64 alpha-numeric character display, on 4 lines, with backlight to be switched
ON/OFF by operator.
In order to provide high protection against false alarms reporting from unknown sites,
caller ID function is implemented. The function may be used provided both beneficiary and
monitoring station are connected to a phone land-line telephone exchange, a digital one,
allowing the named service to work (check service availability with the telephone service
supplier).

Professional monitoring solutions of the latest generation
The monitoring station, designed on the basis of high performance 8-bit microprocessors,
allows monitoring, recording, and administration of events received from different burglary
or fire alarming control panels, on PSTN, GSM/SMS, GSM/GPRS and Internet/Intranet.
A monitoring station consists of one central unit and of 1 to 8 line boards. A line board
realizes the interface with 2 standard telephone lines.
The monitoring station receiver power supply uses the mains 220Vac, and backup on
2V@7Ah battery (battery charger included).
Software for central monitoring station

? visual warnings (by pop-up windows) and acoustic warning (playback of prerecorded voice messages) for a prompt reaction of the operator in case of

According to the battery capacity (max.7Ah), an independent operation can be provided
for about 24h in case 220Vac mains lost.
Communication between the PC and monitoring station is carried out by a RS232 serial
port (9600 Kbps).
The main unit is provided with a parallel communication port for printer connection, where
all received events and events internally generated by the equipment may be printed.
It has a 64 alpha-numeric character display, on 4 lines, with backlight to be switched
ON/OFF by operator.
In order to provide high protection against false alarms reporting from unknown sites,
caller ID function is implemented. The function may be used provided both beneficiary and
monitoring station are connected to a phone land-line telephone exchange, a digital one,
allowing the named service to work (check service availability with the telephone service
supplier).
