The Florida Institute for Health Innovation (FIHI) seeks an experienced trainer to administer and
coordinate an interprofessional collaboration project, which includes the completion of project reports
and management of communication with partners. Strong training, interpersonal and communications
skills, attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills and the ability to work independently and
handle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment are essential. Additional competencies and
responsibilities are listed below.
Project scope of work:
Interprofessional Training Project
• Complete online training in TeamSTEPPS, if not already a Master Trainer in TeamSTEPPS
• Complete site assessments for community health center teams per work plan
• Complete TeamSTEPPS training at clinic sites per work plan
• Implement TeamSTEPPS curriculum at clinic sites
• Schedule, plan, coordinate, and attend meetings with interprofessional teams
• Update project work plans based on constituent feedback
• Prepare monthly reports on project deliverables
• Create and edit Powerpoint presentations with voiceover for web-based TeamSTEPPS training
• Engage in outreach and follow-up to ensure stakeholder participation in meetings and projects
• Manage a Project Assistant who would provide support for the project

The ideal candidate:
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, organizational and
analytical skills, and oral and written communication skills
• Has the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and projects in a deadline-driven
environment
• Must work well independently and be a team player with respect for the diverse cultures and
experiences of others
• Comfort working with interdisciplinary health professionals
• Pro-actively takes initiative and is highly organized, detail-oriented and creative
• Skilled in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Willing to learn programs used by the Institute such as GoToWebinar, GoToMeeting, ShareFile,
and SurveyMonkey

General Requirements:
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently and manage a project as
well as staff
• Professional interest in health equity, health policy, public health, health care, and/or
results-based collaboration
• Master’s degree or higher
• 1 to 2 years of experience in training, healthcare and/or management are preferred
