La voz del Pastor ….
"Can God really meet our needs?" This, dear friends, is the question which arises when we reflect today’s readings, 1 Kings
17:17-24 & Luke 7:11-17
“Come to me all you that labor and are burdened, and I will refresh you.”(Matthew 11:28) Said Jesus. Why not bring our needs,
our burdens and our worries and fears to Him this morning and find out that not only can He, but that He will also.
Maybe you need is that of peace, you can come and have that need met today.
Maybe yours is a material or physical need. You can come and find the assurance that God will take care of that too.
Maybe you need is emotional in nature, God can handle that!
Whatever the need, bring it to God! Satan and the flesh will say, "Can God?" Ignore Satan. Ignore temptations of the flesh.
In faith, we say "God can, God can!" Arise! (Luke 7:14)

"Vengan a mí los que van cansados, llevando pesadas cargas, y yo los aliviaré (Mateo 11:28) dijo Jesús. Por qué no traer
nuestras necesidades, nuestras cargas, nuestras preocupaciones y temores a El esta mañana y descubrir que no sólo puede sino
que lo hará.
Tal vez necesitas esa paz, puedes venir y traer esa necesidad que encontraras hoy.
Tal vez lo tuyo sea una necesidad física o material. Puedes venir y encontrar la seguridad de que Dios cuidará de eso tambien.
Tal vez necesitas esa emocion natural, Dios la puede manejar!
Sea cual sea la necesidad, entregarselo a Dios! Satanás y la carne dirá: "Puede Dios?" Ignora a Satanás. Ignora las tentaciones de
la carne.
En la fe decimos que "Dios puede, Dios puede!" ¡ Levántate! (Lucas 7:14)

Confirmation at St.Thomas More is a two year program. Students currently receiving Catholic high
school religious education fulfill the Confirmation Year 1 requirements according to Archdiocesan
regulations and can begin Confirmation Year 2 as sophomores. If a student is in public school or non-Catholic private school grades 9
through 11, the student must register for Confirmation Year 1.
Preparation: Confirmation Year 1 can be begun as early as freshman year through junior year of High School. Confirmation Year 2 can be
completed as early as sophomore year through senior year of High School.If you are a High School student and you have not received
