Lappkabel - Webkatalog Page 1 of 3 ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 100 Connection and control cable with coloured cores Lapp special PVC compound P8/1, 4 kV test voltage VDE + ÖLFLEX® colour code Application Advantages Note Cable Make-up The range of application of ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 100 connection and control cables comprises all electrical installations in dry and damp or wet interiors, especially under industrial conditions. Outdoor use only with UV protection and in observance of the temperature range. The transparent outer sheath protects the braid against dirt and mechanical damages. These cables are suitable for free not continuously movement appliance without tensil load or compulsory guidance as well as for fixed installation. ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 100 in sizes 0,5 mm² upwards is particularly suitable as control and flexible connecting cable in machine tool manufacturing, plant engineering, in power stations, heating and air conditioning installation etc. The high-grade PVC insulation and sheath material allows optimum small outer diameters and therefore reduced space requirement. The improved LAPP PVC compound P 8/1 fulfils the highest electrical and mechanical demands. The high test voltage, 4000 V AC, provides high insulation safety. ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 100 control cables are highly resistant against acids, lyes and certain oils at room temperature. The high flexibility of ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 100 control cables achieved by fine wire copper strands, short twisting lengths, and powdering of the cores to improve sliding effects and secure separation of cores. Up to 5 cores and max. 4.0 mm² ÖLFLEX® 100/05 complies with the harmonisation conditions for H 05 VV-F. For variations of the standard range, e.g. cores, outer sheaths, special screening techniques and extended temperature ranges, please consult our Technical Department. You will find smaller crosssections in UNITRONIC® 100 range . Cables with UVresistant outer sheath . Cables for continuously mobile application . The product is conform to the EEC directive 73/23 (Low Voltage Directive) CE.
