Based on the benchmark results, organizations at higher stages of information DX have gained a competitive advantage with information and social listening, Web, mobile, and big data and analytics to assess current and future state of customers and markets to stay ahead of competition. These organizations also generate new revenue streams from data products and services. The ability to capitalize upon the benefits of information digital transformation maturity is a work in progress. By assessing their information DX’s maturity level against industry benchmarks, organizations can uncover maturity gaps among different dimensions within information DX maturity and take advantage of information transformation solutions to establish a firm base for digital transformation. Only 5.7% of survey respondents treat monetization of data from and about products, customers, and markets as a core part of the enterprise’s business strategy and a significant source of revenue.
