KTS Traineeships & Apprenticeships
Traineeships
A traineeship is a course with work experience that gets you ready for an
apprenticeship or work. Our courses generally last for 10 weeks.
When on a Traineeship Programme with KTS Training, a learner will be guided
through an education and training programme with work experience. The
programme is focused on giving young people the skills and experience that
employers are looking for. The programme helps the young person become
work ready enabling them to develop new skills and behaviours, providing a real
workplace experience and structured opportunity with their next step leading
onto an apprenticeship.

employer of their choice for 4 days per week.
Day release college is delivered by KTS Training at our centre in Yate
which is right next to the train station easily accessible from Temple
Meads station and takes 10 minutes on the train.
The course delivers work preparation training which can include CV
writing, interview preparation, interpersonal skills and local business and
sector information.
English and Maths support from KTS Training to improve learners
literacy and numeracy if required.
Once work placement has been completed a meeting is arranged with the
employer to see if there are any opportunities for an
apprenticeship/job within company.
