Dr. Robert F. Mills is an Associate Professor of
Electrical Engineering in the Department of
Electrical and Computer Engineering, Air Force
Institute of Technology (AFIT), Wright-Patterson
AFB OH. He is also Director of AFIT’s Center
for Cyberspace Research and the Air Force
Cyberspace Technical Center of Excellence. He
retired from Air Force active duty after serving
21 years as a communications/radar engineer.
Since 2003, he has been on the faculty at AFIT.
He has taught over 20 different courses covering
topics in a wide variety of technical areas and has
successfully directed 2 doctoral students, and over 70 master’s students through
completion of their independent research requirements. He conducts research
in a variety of disciplines and has authored or co-authored 7 book chapters, 39
journal articles, and 70+ conference papers.
