Page 1 of 7 3 OBJECTIVE : The test facility is required to conduct test of verification of behaviour of RCCB's in case of current surges caused by impulse voltages in accordance with the standard IS : 12640(Part-1)2008 and IEC 61008-1,1996 and IEC : 61008-1,2010 with amendment 2 as on 09-2013 on the residual current circuit breakers and IEC : 61009-1.The equipment shall comply with all the latest editions/amendments of the national/international standards. The test procedure and also the test parameters such as voltage, current shall be in accordance with the relevant clause of standard specified. Further the test-system also to be checked on actual test at CPRI Lab to prove its performance in testing as per the standards and specifications concerned to the test object intended. Any instrument with specified accuracy limits in the system should have its calibration traceability with National/International accrediated laboratory. 11 Delivery period : The material is to be dispatched within 1 month from the date of purchase order. The circuit diagram, operation manuals, maintenance instructions of the test system/equipment/instrument shall be submitted in duplicate to CPRI alongwith the set-up.
