3. APPLICATION OPTIONS
Preconditions:
Producer must have a valid GLOBALG.A.P. IFA Version 4.0 Certificate for Aquaculture.
NOTE: For those producers with:
i) a valid GLOBALG.A.P. IFA Version 4.0 AND a Friend of the Sea Certificate (until
August 2015, when GLOBALG.A.P. Version 5 will be available) OR
ii) a GLOBALG.A.P. Version 5.0 Certificate for Aquaculture,
the application of this Add-on module is not necessary; considering that the Add-on
module criteria shall be integrated into GLOBALG.A.P. Aquaculture Standard V5.
i) and ii) will have the option to use the FOS logo linked to the GLOBALG.A.P. GGN.
The Applicable fee is displayed in the chapter "fees".
3.1 Option 1 - Individual Producer

4. REGISTRATION PROCESS

The applicant shall register with a
localg.a.p. approved Certification
Body or GLOBALG.A.P. licensed
Farm Assurer.
Only GLOBALG.A.P. approved Certification Bodies conducting IFA Aquaculture
inspections are allowed to apply. Therefore CBs have to send a letter of intent to the
GLOBALG.A.P. Secretariat that they want to apply for this new Add-on.
Friend of the Sea must formally accept your organization and allow you to operate the
FOS Add-on. Please attach a letter of acceptance to the letter of intent for the
GLOBALG.A.P. Secretariat.

6. APPROVAL PROCESS
6.1 Requirements to achieve and

6.5 Letter of Conformance and

6.6 Certification Integrity Program
(CIPRO)
a)
Requirements
The Letter of Conformance may only be issued if the producer has a valid certificate for
GLOBALG.A.P. IFA for Aquaculture.
The possibility of adding CIPRO to
CIPRO covers implicitly all participants of this Add-on as a valid certificate for
the Add-on program shall be clarified. GLOBALG.A.P. IFA Version 4.0 for Aquaculture is a pre-condition to apply for the
Friend of the Sea Add-on module for Aquaculture.
7. CERTIFICATION BODY AND FARM ASSURE REGISTRATION RULES FOR THE ADD-ON PROGRAM
Annex I.1 Rules for use of the
GLOBALG.A.P. Add-on trademark
and logo.
Own Add-on logo (if applicable)
"Friend of the Sea Aquaculture Label" (see Cover page) that combines the Friend of
the Sea label, an individual GLOBALG.A.P. Number (GGN) and a text as to the
aquaculture origin and the Friend of the Sea website for search purposes.
Annex III: Data Access Rights
In case of a different data release
level as defined in the Annex III.
