Grizzly Screen
Since 1938 the company has been active in the field of vibration technology and holds a leading position worldwide. The
experience gained in this field has also been used in screening
practice. Consequently, the delivery program of AViTEQ also
focuses on screening machines for the most different tasks.
The following screening machines have been delivered to the
market and run to the full satisfaction of the users:
• LINEAR-MOTION VIBRATING SCREENS driven by electromagnetic vibrators, unbalanced motors and
exciters
• BANANA SCREENS with exciters
• CIRCULAR-MOTION VIBRATING SCREENS with shaft drive
• ELLIPTICAL-MOTION VIBRATING SCREENS with individual unbalanced drive
• DEWATERING SCREENS for solid-liquid separation
• GRIZZLIES for coarse pre-separation
• FINE SCREENS with infinitely variable magnetic drive
• TWIST SCREENS
If the lifecycle of many everyday products is traced back to the beginning of the industrial process, it rapidly emerges –
and perhaps not surprisingly – that the initial material in
the majority of cases was bulk material. But in order to arrive at usable end products, a refined technology is required
which sorts, separates, mixes, prepares, doses or simply
transports the respective bulk material to its destination.
AViTEQ
Vibrationstechnik
GmbH – formed out of AEG Vibrationstechnik – supplies drive
components and complete vibration conveyor systems based on
the latest oscillation conveyor
technology. These vibration engineering systems have decisive
advantages in comparison with
conventional conveyor technology in respect of process engineering, design and safety, and
from the standpoint of productivity improvement.

products which place high destoraging
mands on throughput performance and dust-free operation.
Round screens are driven by low- noise vibration motors
or drive cells with vibration segments.
Because the screen inlets are fastened with rapid closure
fasteners, they can be changed quickly and with little effort.
The number of screen decks can be varied easily. We deliver
solutions for many industries like raw material industry
(sand, stone, cement, earth) or recycling, glass, steel, foundry,
plastic, pharmaceutics and chemistry industry. Our focus is
on customers and their desired application.

For more than 60 years, Derrick Corporation has been leading the industry in the design and manufacture of highfrequency vibrating machines and screen surfaces. With a
pioneering spirit driving innovative solutions, the organization is continuously in the forefront advancing the field of
fine particle separation technology. Known worldwide for
their high-capacity and superior separation efficiency, Derrick products are used successfully around the world. Its advanced technology allows processors to screen a wide variety of wet
or dry fine materials in the range of 10 mm to 38 µm.
Derrick has success stories in nearly every mining application that requires fine screening. Its proven fine particle separation technology has been beneficial in coal, copper
ore, gold, industrial minerals, fertilizers, iron ore, plastics,
silica sand, potash and many other fine screening applications, creating more efficient processes, saving energy, and
increasing profits for the processors. In addition, structural requirements for Derrick Screens are considerably less than other types of vibrating screens, since Derrick screens transmit virtually no dynamic load to the support structure.
Derrick Stack Sizer®
Introduced in 2001, the Derrick Stack Sizer® machine has
become the company’s top selling wet screening machine. Thousands of Stack Sizer screens are currently in use around
the world. Its popularity is due to the increased efficiency achieved as well as the improvement of product quality, reduction in variability, and improved downstream processes.
Offering from one to five decks positioned one above the
other and operating in parallel, the machine offers high capacity and efficiency while saving floor space. When fitted
with Derrick patented Polyweb® urethane screen panels,
fine screening becomes practical in situations where it once
may not have been.
Polyweb® Screen Surfaces
Unlike other urethane panels, Derrick’s Polyweb® panels are not only abrasion resistant, they offer a high open
area and anti-blinding properties with performance that
rivals conventional woven wire screens. Processing plants Stack Sizer in the milling
circuit of a chrome ore
grinding plant in Turkey
throughout the world have realized significant cost savings using Polyweb panels. Polyweb panels frequently last 6-12 months. Polyweb screens provide unmatched classification, resist blinding, and produce a higher quality product. The panels can achieve wet separation as fine as 45 µm
and dry separation as fine as 104 µm.
Derrick HI-CAP Dewatering Machine
The HI-CAP dewatering screen, the largest member of Derrick’s dual-motor linear motion machine line, is also designed to use Polyweb urethane panels. Increased dryness of discharging solids is possible with this machine because
of the 5 g-force acceleration provided by two 5-hp Derrick W-series vibrators. This rugged machine is capable of withstanding the harshest environments.
Derrick Dry Screening Applications
For dry screening applications, Derrick offers a wide assortment of single and multi-deck machines, including a 1.2 m x
3 m Front-to-Back tensioning system. Front-to-Back tensioning machine was engineered to provide even material distribution, leading to increased capacity and improved efficiency.
Derrick also offers linear motion screens, repulp screens, high shear screens, and belt scalpers; dry screening products; urethane and woven wire screen surfaces; FLO-dividers, which are used to split slurry flows into various equivalent streams;
hydrocyclones, such as round desilter manifolds; and vibratory
motors for mining and industrial applications.
