Applications
Illumination
Commercial, industrial and institutional facilities where flexibility for
remote fixtures is required along with a need for a compact and
efficient self-contained unit.
Standard illumination is provided using 9 watt tungsten PAR 18
lamps, especially designed for emergency lighting. Optional tungsten and halogen lamps are offered in various wattages in PAR 18,
PAR 36 and MR 16 styles.
Operation
All models provide emergency lighting for up to four hours. Operation is completely automatic. The solid-state charger maintains
the battery at full charge. Lighting heads and fixtures are automatically connected to the battery upon loss of utility AC. While
in emergency operation, battery damage from a deep discharge
is prevented by a low voltage disconnect circuit. When normal
power is restored, the emergency lighting is extinguished and the
charger recharges the battery to its initial state. Recharging is
accomplished within acceptable CSA time standards. Charge rate
is indicated by a pilot light. A test switch is provided for checking
emergency operation. Operation is universal 120VAC or 347VAC.
