VERSIGARD® RTS (REINFORCED TERMINATION STRIP) GENERAL: VersiGard RTS is available in 6" and 9" widths (150 and 230 mm). The 6 inch wide RTS is utilized horizontally or vertically in conjunction with Seam Fastening Plates/Batten Bar below the EPDM deck membrane for additional membrane attachment. RTS is also utilized for perimeter membrane securement (42’ to 54’ (1 to 1.5 m) from the building edge) on the Mechanically Attached Roofing System when a 7’ or 10’ (2 or 3 m) wide reinforced EPDM membrane is utilized. The 9 inch wide (230 mm) RTS is utilized in conjunction with gravel stops and metal edgings to allow the continuation of the cured EPDM deck membrane as flashing in lieu of Uncured Flashing.
