CHAIN
OIL
LIGHT, MEDIUM, HEAVY
DESCRIPTION
PERFORMANCE FEATURES
SONIC CHAIN OILS are blended to produce a very tacky
product that will adhere extremely well (reducing throw-off and
dripping) to the guide bar and chain of power saws.
®
APPLICATIONS / SPECS
SONIC® CHAIN OILS are recommended for use in the chain
oil reservoir on a majority of modern chain saws. Their tacky
nature and proprietary formulation protect the guide bar and
chain from excessive wear.
•Tackiness agents enable the oil to maintain a protective oil
film to lubricate the chain and bar
•Anti-wear additives protect against premature wear of the
metal components
•Anti-rust protection resists water corroding metal parts.
•Provides good flow ability at all temperatures (three weights
are available)

SAW
GUIDE
OIL
100, 150, 175*
DESCRIPTION
PERFORMANCE FEATURES
SONIC SAW GUIDE OIL uses a blend of carefully selected
paraffinic base oils and performance additives to protect both
modern and legacy multiblade gangsaws and edgers.
®
SONIC® SAW GUIDE OILS are fortified with tackifiers
enabling them to adhere to critical components and form a
friction reducing film between the blade and guide. This film
resists water washoff and protects the equipment against
abrassive environmental debris and reduces friction generated
tempature increases.
•Rust Protection – Rust and Corrosion inhibitors assist in
keeping blades cleaner and increasing their usable life
•Reduces Pitch Build Up (wood resin) – Reducing wood
resin on the blades and guide aid in reducing wear and
maintaining cooler operating temperatures, thus reducing
overall wear
•Reduced Oil “Fling” – Tackifiers reduce the amount of
oil throw off the blades generate, resulting in a cleaner,
healthier environment
CONTAINERS
SONIC® SAW GUIDE OIL is blended in 2 common grades
(100 and 150).
For extreme heat or specialty applications, a custom heavygrade can be produced. Please contact your local Co-op for
