Approved Electives: Dept. of Electrical Engineering The Electrical Engineering (EE) curriculum requires 9 hours of technical electives and 3 hours of an engineering science elective. The EE program requires that at least 6 hours of the technical electives must be taken within the major or approved equivalent as some MTRE and SwE courses (and other ENGR, ME, SyE, etc. may be considered.) All electives must be at the 3000 level or higher and a grade of at least a ‘C’ must be earned to garner credit. Note that there are some courses that are anticipated to be crosslisted or have approval of the EE program faculty to be considered within the major such as MTRE or SwE courses. This is not an exhaustive list of courses that can be used for EE electives, but these are pre-approved ones. If you are interested in another or new course, contact your EE faculty advisor. There is no guarantee when these courses will be offered. This is NOT a projected course offering. Consult your faculty advisor for further information.
