Accommodation : Own arrangement ABOUT THE CONFERENCE Nanocrystalline materials have been the subject of worldwide research during the last two decades and more, leading to significant advances in their synthesis, consolidation, applications and characterization. The significantly differing physical, mechanical and chemical properties of nano materials in comparison with the conventional coarse-grained polycrystalline materials have created enormous interest in their study. Nanostructured materials provide an excellent opportunity to study the nature of solid interfaces leading to our understanding of the structure-property relationship in solids in the nanometer regime. They also present many attractive technological applications with their novel properties. During the recent years a vast number of synthesizing techniques, novel consolidation and advanced charaterization procedures have been reported. A number of successful attempts have also been made to simulate as well as model the consolidation of nano materials. Required 8.
