This pack contains 180 ml of cough syrup (12 adult doses, 36 doses
for a 6 - 11 year old or 72 doses for a 2 - 5 year old).
Each 15 ml (adult) dose contains 20 mg Dextromethorphan as the
active ingredient.

Directions for use:
Shake the bottle well before use.
Adults and children over 12 years: Three 5 ml teaspoons of cough
syrup. Repeat this dose every 6 hours if you need to.
Children 6 - 11 years: One 5 ml teaspoon of cough syrup. Repeat
this dose every 6 hours if you need to.
Children 2 - 5 years: Half a 5ml teaspoon of cough syrup. Repeat
this dose every 6 hours if you need to.

Storing your medicine
Do not store above 25˚C.
Do not use after the expiry date on the bottle and carton.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours.

Most people have no side effects with VICKS Cough Syrup with
Honey for Dry Coughs but as with all medicines it may not suit
everyone. There may occasionally be side effects. These may

This medicinal product contains 66g of sucrose. When taken
according to dosage recommendations each 15ml dose supplies up
to 5.5g of sucrose. Unsuitable for patients with a history of
difficulty digesting sugars. This should also be taken into account
by those with diabetes. This product contains sodium benzoate
which is a mild irritant to the skin, eyes and mucous membranes.

- immediately if you accidentally take too much syrup or give too
much syrup to a child

Warning this medicinal product contains 5.208 vol.% of ethanol
(alcohol), i.e. up to 0.6308g per 15 ml dose, equivalent to. 21.42 ml
beer, 6.25 ml wine per dose.Harmful from those suffering form
alcoholism. To be taken into account in pregnant or breast feeding
women, children, high-risk groups such as patients with liver
disease or epilepsy. Reactions in road traffic and while operating
machinery may be lowered. May modify or increase the effect of
other medicines.
DO NOT give this medicine to children under 2 years, except on
medical advice.
