All Library materials should be treated with care.
Materials can be ordered over the internet:
http://leu.library.lt/.
Patrons must bring their membership card every time
they visit the Library.
Patrons will be charged fines as follows for overdue
materials:
 loans for a period of 2 weeks: 0,29 € per day
for each item for each workday of overdue,
 loans for a period of 1 month or 6 months
(semester): 0,03 € per day for each item for
each workday of overdue.
A borrower who loses or damages books, documents or
other materials is liable to pay a replacement value as
determined by Library Authority.
The fine for damaged barcode is 0,58 €.
Patrons must keep their mobile phones silent and
answer their calls outside the reading areas.
Wireless internet is available in the Library.
Self-service copy machines are available in the
corridor of the Main Building and at the Branch
Library of the Second Campus.
The Library is closed on cleanup days. Closings are
announced and posted on the Library door, Web page
and “Facebook” page.

The regular loan period is:

1 month – for scholarly documents, fiction and
textbooks, provided that the Library has enough
copies,

2 weeks – for the last copy of a document.
All the textbooks (provided that the Library has enough
copies):

autumn semester – till February 15,

spring semester – till July 15.

last copy of a document). Renewals are available online or in
person.

libraries. Ordered materials are only for use in the Reading Halls
at the Library.

Offers access to the internet, e-mail, databases, CD-ROMs,
video images. 11 computers provide access to the internet and
electronic resources. There is a printer of Braille.

Offers a collection of books, textbooks, teaching materials of all
the subjects tought at the University. Patrons can order materials
from the Holdings. 4 computers at the location provide access to
the internet and electronic resources. 1 magnifier for patrons
with special needs.
We offer:
 Room for Group Studies with 13 working places which is
to be booked at the General Reading Hall or by e-mail

 Green Room for Group Studies with 27 working places
which is to be booked at the General Reading Hall or by email rezervuoti105@leu.lt.

Offers an extensive collection of scholarly journals, general
interest periodicals, newspapers, multimedia, electronic
resources. Patrons can order periodicals of earlier dates from the
Holdings. 10 computers at the location provide access to the
internet and electronic resources. There are scanning, colour or
black & white print services; self-service printing is available
too. One can buy sheaths.
