manufactures multipurpose push buttons, protective covers
and alarms to help prevent theft and vandalism to: fire pull
stations, smoke detectors, speaker/strobe/horns, biometrics,
keypads, exit signs, emergency lights, thermostat controls,
motion detectors, CCTV cameras, clocks, bells, AEDs and
control panels. STI also manufactures alarms to protect fire
extinguishers from theft and alarms for exit/entry doors.
Covers are constructed from polycarbonate, 9-gauge
corrosion-resistant steel wire or stainless steel. Most
products include a lifetime guarantee against breakage in
normal use.

This unique and patented protective
cover has been helping stop false fire
alarms without restricting legitimate
alarms for more than a decade. Use
proven in virtually every kind of public
building around the world, Stopper II
can dramatically reduce or in some
cases even eliminate false fire alarms.
It is available in many different
models, with or without warning horn,
for flush or surface mounting and with
remote power and relay output
capability.
FEATURES
• Fits virtually all manual pull stations indoors or out. Larger sizes and
surface mounted pull stations accommodated with 2” clear conduit
spacer.
• Tested and accepted by fire prevention authorities and approved by
testing organizations.
• Does not restrict use of pull station.
• Lifetime guarantee on polycarbonate cover against breakage in
normal use.
• Cover is UV-stabilized against sun deterioration.
• Can be used as a guard against physical damage to a manual pull
station, with or without a warning horn.
• Weather resistant gaskets available. UL requires stations to be listed
for outdoor use with cover.
• Power source is a 9 VDC alkaline battery on models with horn.
(Remote powered unit is available.)
• Horn housing and conduit spacers may be ordered in choice of red,

STI-9602
These guards provide patented protection against vandalism
and accidental damage. Nine models ideal for areas where
abuse to a detector is severe. Durable design uses 9-gauge
steel wire with corrosion resistant polyester coating or
stainless steel. Models available for smoke detectors
without conduit are the STI-9601 for low profile detectors,
the STI-9609 for high profile units and the STI-9604 for smaller
size detectors. Allowing for conduit entrance are the STI-9610
(high profile), STI-9602 (low profile) and STI-9605 for smaller
size smoke detectors. Other wire cages are available to
protect exit signs, clocks/bells, PIRs, motion detectors,
emergency lights and smoke beam detectors.

These virtually indestructible covers (slotted for horn or speaker units and solid for strobe-only alarms) with advanced
features are designed to provide maximum protection against vandalism and damage to signal appliances of the new
generation of fire protection systems. Molded of clear, thick, UV-stabilized polycarbonate material and offer a variety
of spacers are available for larger strobe/horn units, retrofits, surface mount and weather resistant applications.
Spacer A has a four inch deep enclosed backbox, spacer B has an enclosed backbox molded with an integral doublegang outlet box. Spacer C has an open back for retrofit applications. Spacer D accommodates deeper units and
