German national R&D projects
German test-day models, as the chief scientist I developed genetic evaluation systems for
German dairy cattle populations based on a random regression test-day model: 1999 to
2002 for milk production traits, 2002-2003 for somatic cell scores.
German QTL-MAS projects (ADR1 and ADR2), I made contributions to these projects.
German fertility evaluation model, I developed a multiple trait animal model for evaluating
female fertility of German dairy cattle from 2006 to 2008.
German genome project GENOTRACK, From 2008 to 2010 I developed a genomic
evaluation system for German Holstein population.
German calving trait evaluation, from 2010 to 2011 I developed a new multiple-trait model
for evaluating calving traits of German dairy cattle populations.
International R&D project leader
French-German joint evaluation project, as a senior scientist and supervisor I developed
main computer programs for a joint genetic evaluation between countries from 2005 to
2006.
