GUIDELINE SPECIFICATIONS
General
The
battery pack shall be of the Power Sentry® family. The battery pack shall be capable of operating one
T8-T12 lamps, one 2’-4’
HO or VHO long compact
lamp (PS600QD
or two 2’-4’
and PS1400QD), one 6’-8’ T8-T12 lamp (PS600QD and PS1400QD), one 2’-4’ T5 lamp (PS600QD and PS1400QD),

Operation
During normal operation, the AC power applied to the battery pack is regulated and controlled by the electronic circuitry to

The self-diagnostics module shall be contained in a separate housing with Quick-Disconnect capability for easy maintenance. An
integral multi-chromatic test switch/pilot light indicator will be provided to display two-state charging, test activation and threestate diagnostic status. Test switch also provides manual activation of 30-second diagnostic testing for on-demand visual
inspection. The self-diagnostic testing will occur for
minutes every 30 days and 30 minutes every six months for diagnostic
