- Type G:ashort-timedelayedbreakingcharacteristic(min.non-actuatingperiodis10ms).Theswitchesare
resistanttounwantedtrippingsatcurrentimpulsesorwhenbuilt-ininspecialcriticalconditions.Theyexcelinhigh
resistancetosurgecurrents(upto3kA)andareliableoperationincaseofhighmakingcurrents.Rated
currentsarefrom25to100A,andratedresidualoperatingcurrentsare30,100,300and500mA.ThisistypeA,
andacustomercanchoosebetweenNFI2Ktwo-poleandNFI4Kfour-poleswitches.
VersionsSandGcomplywiththeEN61008standard.Regardingtrippingtimes,typeGalsocomplieswith
ÖVE/ÖNORME8601(supplementtoÖVEEN61008).BothtypesareVDEapproved.
- FIR – FIT combination:Itisusedfortheprotectionincircuitswhereoperationalcurrentsarehigherthatrated
currentsofresidualcurrentcircuitbreakers.AnactuatingrelayFIRisseparatedfromaFItransformer(FIT).The
functionofloadswitchingisperformedbythecontactororacircuit-breakerwithanundervoltagerelease.
Acombinationratedcurrentthereforedependsonselectedswitchingdevices.Itislimitedwithcablecross-sectionswhich
canbeinsertedthroughtheholeoftheFItransformer.Rateddifferentialcurrentsare0.3A,0.5A,1Aand2A.
