EnsureclarityaboutTexasPathwayProjectgoals,expectationsofcolleges,and
supportsforparticipants.
•
Establishacommondefinitionforguidedpathwaysandtheiressentialelements,
asdefinedfortheTexasPathwaysProject,andinitiateuseofalignedtoolsthat
Pathwayscollegeswilluseforplanningandmonitoringprogress.
•
Reinforcechangeleadershipstrategiesforimplementingpathwaysatscale.
•
Delineatehowguidedpathwaysreformscanbuildonandhelptointegrate
studentsuccessstrategiesalreadyinplaceintheinstitution.
•
Builda“casestatement”forpathways,tailoredtoindividualinstitutioncontext
andcurrentstatus,thatwillhelpbuildbroadunderstanding,urgencyand
momentumfortransformationalchange.
•
Producedraftactionplansthatdelineatenextstepsinpathwaysreform,
specificallyincorporatingstrategiesforbroadcampusengagementandneedsfor
professionaldevelopmentandtechnicalassistance.

BegintobuildanengagedlearningnetworkamongTexasPathwaysColleges.
TheTexasPathwayInstituteisbasedontheAmericanAssociationofCommunity
College’sPathwaysProjectaugmentedfortheTexaseducationalcontextandexpanded
tosupportPathwaysstrategiesinall50Texascommunitycollegedistricts.
