Clutch Roller
A clutch lift system is the industry standard for raising and lowering roller
shades. Our clutches are manufactured to tolerances within 2/1000 of an
inch and never need adjusting. Components other than the spring are made
of glass reinforced thermopolymer to ensure years of trouble free
performance and prevent oxidation of external materials. For oversized
shades we offer spring assisted clutches that build tension as the shade is
lowered. When raising the shade, the tension then absorbes much of the
shades weight making the lifting action virtually effortless.

Motorized Roller
Motorized roller shades utilize tubular motors that are hidden within the shade roller. The shades can be controlled via standard 3 position wall switches, wireless
remote controls, programmable smart switches and even PCs with customizable software. Power for the motors can come from line voltage AC, DC transformers,
or when wiring is not an option, battery wands.
With a host of automatic controls such as sun and light sensors, building facades and window walls become bioclimatic. Solar shades react to weather variations
to then offer occupants greater comfort while saving energy.
Power Source Options
For medium to supersized
shades. Very quiet operation,
rugged high performance motors.
Larger gauge wiring & plugs harder to hide. Many shades can
be coupled together and run on a
single motor.
"Point & Shoot"; Infrared protocol is compatible with universal infrared remote controls.
The main advantage when compared to radio technology is that there is no interference
with electromagnetic signals from other devices such as television sets and X-ray
equipment in hospitals.

RTS
Radio technology is the most flexible form of communication with Somfy motors. Wireless
hand held remote controls, wall switches & timers are easily added and programmed for a
job at any point in time. Individual shades or groups of shades can be controlled in any
arrangement. Sun sensors and external AV equipment such as Crestron controllers or
even PC's can be integrated with the RTS platform.
WIRED
In new construction and in many commercial applications where RF interference may be
an issue, low voltage or line voltage electrical wiring links the controls to the motors. Sun
sensors and external AV equipment such as Crestron controllers or even PC's can be
integrated with the wired platform.

Our expansive line of solar screen fabrics range from 1% to 25%
openness and are from the largest screen weavers in the industry. They
offer dimensional stability along with thermal & UV protection.
We also offer sustainable PVC-free green fabrics that are 100%
recyclable. These weaves are generated from core yarn that is born out of
post-industrial waste by-product, which lends itself to repeat recyclability
for continued sustainability.

We offer small and large cassette valances which we ship as one complete
assembly. This not only provides a sleek appearance but also installs easier.
Two profile sizes are available depending upon the size and operating
system of the shade. We insert your chosen shade fabric into the valance for
a seamless look.
Applications: Residential windows where a designer wants to achieve a
softer look than a painted aluminum fascia panel could provide.

We offer 3" and 4" fascia covers as well as a 7" fascia to cover a vertically oriented duo-shade. We
also offer 3" and 4" "Top Back Covers" which in essense creates a 4 sided vented pocket that is less
complex to install than typical 3 sided pockets.
Applications: Contemporary residential or commercial windows where either protection of the
shade system is required and/or an integrated look is desired.
