NOTES:

Homework has two components: i) problem sets and ii) multiple choice questions.
Answers to multiple choice questions will be handed out during class time after your
work has been graded. Problem sets and their solutions are posted online (Library
Reserve).
2.
“Quiz” means solving one of the assigned homework problems, randomly chosen,
during 20 minutes of class time (Open book – no notes).
3.
Dates of due homework (multiple choice questions), quizzes and midterm will be
announced in class. ATTENDANCE is essential. NO LATE homework will be
accepted.
4.
For make-up of anything, proof of emergency is required. Work, social events,
holiday schedule and field trips do not constitute emergency.
