1. Robertson Hall
Dedicated in the fall of 1994, this four-story building is equipped with
audio/video technology and cameras for simultaneous broadcasting.
The classrooms are tiered and seminar-sized. The 132,000-square-foot
building houses the School of Law, the Robertson School of
Government, and offices for the College of Arts & Sciences, plus a
376-seat moot court/city council chamber, various student
organizations and the offices of the American Center for Law and
Justice (ACLJ).
2. Regent University Library Building
Dedicated in October 1984, the University Library allows students to
access libraries and databases nationwide via innovative computer
technology in the electronic reference center. The third floor of the
library building houses the Law Library, the largest, most complete law
library in Hampton Roads, with an extensive collection of federal and
state materials. Established in 1986, the Law Library contains
significant materials for research in public policy and law, constitutional
law, legal history, religion and law, international law, and international
human rights, among others. The library building also houses Mail
Services, Copy Services and Enrollment Support Services.
3. Regent University Administration Building
Built in 1979, the Administration Building is the original building on
campus. The building houses the offices of the President, Academic
Affairs, Chief Financial Officer, Administrative Services, Facilities
& Engineering, Human Resources, Advancement, Marketing,
Public Relations, Alumni Relations, and the Business Office. It
also houses the School of Education and several classrooms.
4. Regent University Classroom Building
This 50,000-square-foot building, constructed in 1986, houses the
School of Psychology & Counseling, the Psychological Services Center,
offices for the School of Business & Leadership, the Applied Science
and Ethics Laboratory and a PC teaching lab, in addition to numerous
classrooms and seminar rooms.
5. Student Center
Opened in late fall 2002, the two-story Student Center houses the
offices of Student Services, Central Financial Aid, Registrar and Career
Services. Regent University Bookstore, the Writing Center, COGS
offices, student organization offices, a student lounge and a dining
facility are also here.
6-7. Chapel & Divinity School Building
Opened in March 2013, the Chapel & Divinity Building are the
centerpiece of campus life, providing a unifying venue where people
can experience the presence of God. The 22,164 sq. ft. Chapel features
a 1,000-seat sanctuary for services, convocations, commencements,
weddings and baptisms, as well as for individual reflection and prayer.
A smaller prayer room is open around the clock for prayer, Bible studies

intercession and reflection. Connected to the Chapel by a covered
walkway, the 36,645 sq. ft. Divinity Building houses the Welcome
Center, equipped to provide prospective students with admissions
guidance, facilitate campus tours, and answer visitor inquiries. Campus
Ministries, Regent Professional & Continuing Education division,
classrooms, meeting spaces, admissions and enrollment teams and
offices for the School of Divinity are also here.
8. Communication & Performing Arts Center
Opened in the fall of 2002, the 135,000-square-foot building houses
all the functional areas of the School of Communication & the Arts,
along with Media Services and Information Technology. Key elements in
the building are a 710-seat proscenium arch theatre, a 195-seat
experimental theatre, a TV studio, a film sound stage, nonlinear video
editing suites, costume and scene shops, acting and dance labs, two
film screening theatres, a complete film production suite, a computer
graphics animation studio, a converged media journalism newsroom,
and a film back lot.
9-10. Regent Commons
This 172,000-square-foot, two-building student housing complex
opened in 2007. The Commons is comprised of several types of
furnished housing units. Rental fees for these units include furniture,
electricity, cable television, Internet service, water/sewage and use of
the fitness center.
11. CBN Studio Headquarters Building
One of the most expansive broadcast facilities in the nation, Studio
Headquarters houses CBN’s worldwide television outreach and network
administrative offices. On October 6, 1979, Christian leaders
nationwide gathered to dedicate the building for the purpose of taking
the gospel to the entire world.
12. CBN Corporate Support Building
The 290,000-square-foot building houses vital support personnel who
help meet the demands of CBN’s rapidly expanding international
ministry, along with Operation Blessing, WorldReach, the Prayer
Counseling Center, the Campus Police and a fully operational print shop
that services CBN.
13-16. The Founders Inn and Spa
The luxurious, Georgian-style resort provides vacation and business
travelers with an unparalleled level of lodging hospitality. The fourbuilding complex provides 240 guest rooms and suites, spa facilities,
swimming pools, formal gardens, meeting rooms and two restaurants.
The ballroom, which seats 1,400, has advanced technological capabilities including high-speed Internet access and teleconferencing. (Special
rates are offered to Regent University guests.)
Regent Village
Regent Village is the university’s housing area primarily for married
couples and families. It is comprised of 224 two- and three-bedroom
apartments. Laundry facilities, a grilling area, playground, and
basketball and volleyball courts are on the premises. Activities for
students and their family members are planned by members of both the
residential community and Student Housing staff.
REGENT UNIVERSITY — Christian Leadership to Change the World
Regent University is dedicated to preparing men and women to make a
positive impact on society through Christian integrity and
professionalism. Thousands of students enroll annually. More than 50
associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees are offered in
the areas of business, communication and the arts, divinity, education,
government, law, leadership, psychology and counseling. The College of
Arts & Sciences also offers degrees in informations systems, history,
languages, biophysical sciences (2014), and more. Regent’s
Professional & Continuing Education division offers the most indemand seminars, webinars and certificate programs. In addition to
attending the campus in Virginia Beach, students can pursue their
degrees online from nearly anywhere in the world. The School of
Education also offers select cohorts in various locations across Virginia
and in the D.C. area.
Directions to Regent University
To visit the university, take exit 286-B from Interstate 64 at Indian River
Road. The campus is on the right. Regent is just a 15-minute drive from
the Norfolk International Airport.
Campus Tours | regent.edu/visit. The scenic, 70-acre campus in
Virginia Beach, Va., is a fascinating study of stately Georgian
architecture. Tours are conducted M-F at 11:30 a.m., both for
prospective graduate students and the general public, beginning in the
Divinity Building, Welcome Center, first floor. Prospective
undergraduate tours are conducted M-F at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
