An affiliated training provider of the Southern African Association for
Energy Efficiency (SAEE), the local chapter of the AEE
EWSETA accredited for energy auditing
We have trained over 3500 individuals in Southern Africa from over 1500
companies over 14 years as well as Namibia, Botswana, Kenya,

Why AEE Certification programmes?
• In 2002 energy efficiency was mostly an unknown term in South Africa,
almost no educational opportunities existed
• AEE was a natural choice - energy engineering training/syllabi has been
developed for over almost 40 years
• Recognized in 98 countries
• Already over 23 000 professionals that have maintained certification
annually
• AEE training material translated into various international languages
• Limited training provider licensing per area ensures that credibility is
upheld
• Strict control of training material content, examination processes, and
certification applications and renewals
Enabling accessibility
• AEE qualifications
– require experience and practical work
– is high level
– examinations draw on practical experience in the industry
• Therefore:
– Training in more manageable chunks
– Together with practical exercises applicable to the client’s needs

Energy Management System development and implementation
is the core to successful training and client satisfaction
EnTF focuses on:
• Workshop-based ISO50001:2011 training to established a
foundation to work from
• Practical training, design, implementation and mentorship of EnMS
â–ºBasis for ensuring successful EE project implementation and
continuous financial gain and energy savings
â–ºTraining is developed, recommended and customised from this base
as RPL and requirements can be matched
ISO50001: 2011 workshops
Case Study: ACSA small airports
They asked: “We want to save energy, where do we start?”
We delivered:
A workshop teaching ACSA to do what they are doing anyway
Just doing it better, EVERYDAY, using a system to support it
ENTF MADE IT EASY TO GET STARTED,
EOH/ENERGY CYBERNETICS HAS MADE IT EASY TO
IMPLEMENT AND CONTINUOUSLY IMPROVE
How the workshop works?
• A +/- 3 day workshop at the client’s premises (size/boundary
dependent)
• For smaller companies, group training up to 4 companies with
break-away
• Experienced ISO engineer/trainer and supporting admin staff
• Training manuals for up to 20 delegates
• An in-house copy of the ISO 50001:2011 standard for all delegates
• Theoretical training in Energy Management System Implementation
• Practical/implementation sessions
After the workshop?
Client will understand:
• What the end-goal is: saving money and energy, year-on-year –
keep your carbon emissions down
Client will have:
• A populated energy manual, with action points on what to do next to
implement an EnMS
